Yeah he's great. His new place is really good, lot more undercover space for project cars. Is it true Mazda called the little R100 because when you turn the key it goes R R R R ... a hundred times before it starts? :) A friend had one a long time ago, very cool little car.

Rigs Rotory is just down the road form my dad. Was a bit nuts to find out there were near 100 Rotory powered cars sitting in a field that close to were I grew up.

You Gunnar have whole RX rat collection, starting off R100, Genuine RX2 sedan, genuine RX3 sedan 20BPP action, genuine RX4 coupe with the not so crusty 13B runner ...yo, need that RX5 Cosmo action.
Cosmo is on my list that’s the dream
R100s must be super rare now! Back in my day as an RX fan there were only a few and we regularly hunted wreckers to find any left over! The 10B engine let them down so engine failure junked too many of them!
So rare and real rear to find out bush. Yeah reliability was there downfall.

We needed to have seen the front of that Holden utility at 6:00 to see if was an HR or HD (Holden Disaster), which I believe it's one or the other. Holden HR commercials continued to use HD rear lights.

Sweet! More Hiroshima screamers for the stable! Btw - step loudly out in those areas and the snakes will feel ya coming and boost out of ya way! Jeans are a great addition too. Will generally be enough protection for brown snake fangs which are short.
I was trying to be so quiet haha and yes I was in shorts no good.
@@lowstandards5269 they don’t have external ears so being quiet isn’t the trick. Ya gotta stomp around coz they feel/hear with vibrations and know when it’s big so do the lash. Quiet will catch one and surprise is usually earning a strike.
I remember when I started looking for and buying R100’s back in the mid 90’s, I went to Whyalla and asked a few locals of there were any around, apparently they had 5 that were used in a smash up derby and then all crushed. All i ended up finding was an RX4.

@@lowstandards5269 I still have one of the R100’s sitting in my garage. Unfortunately I sold the other 2 in yr2000 for $1k 😩, one was a vinyl roof roller and the other a 4cyl swapped runner. Still happy to have a few rotors, B110 coupe and some others

I found a 10A rotor RX2 capella years ago in the Pilbara WA.

@@lowstandards5269 we took the engine, diff and gearbox out of it. That went into a 1300 sedan. It looked like another car had been dropped on the back of it. Last I seen that car was in Dampier WA but I believe it was headed for NZ. There’s a piston engine capella (the rx4 shape) just south of the Fortescue road house only 100km south from me aswell but some one who’s in the know has been to that car. There’s been patches cut out of panels, all the chrome is gone it’s been ratted hard. There’s a few old scrap yards out bush here. Some good toranas and even a genuine Six pack charger found.
