French Cleat Shoe Cubby!

  • I made a shoe cubby for my parents house, So each person will have four slots for shoes. Also its 14 inches off the ground to put dirty work boots or wet winter boots under it instead of inside it. The whole cabinet is wall mounted on a french cleat and could be put at any hight you desire! Hope you like it!

    In My opinion your not edge banding properly causing it to not stick properly. You have to think of it as hot glue, as it melts it immediately wants to dry up so as it melts you have to apply pressure with a block or roller. The best way is to apply the iron for 7 seconds then move a full iron length with a block in the other hand applying pressure to the edge band right behind the iron

    Nice build Josh. My family needs one in the hallway, oh the shoes everywhere. except will add a drawer to store mittens, hats, gloves. Good video editing. Aloha

    Looks great! Question though is faster and cheaper to do it your way or to router dadoes in for the shelving. Im looking to do one of these myself

    This was nice. What were your measurements, including cubbies?

      +Ymee Allthetym the depth was 11 3/4", the top three rows of cubbies were 6"x11" and the bottom row was 8"x11". Total width was 58" and the height was 28 1/2".
