Can someone please explain why this is bad? I thought it was best to just keep fighting and not draw (even in a drawn position) to wait for a potential mistake? I suppose I don’t understand this etiquette.
Because the position is dead drawn. There's absolutely no way to make progress for either side unless one side makes a completely unprovoked blunder, which you'd have to have a three digit ELO to make in a position like this.
This is a surefire draw for anyone above 1500. In this tournament the best move is to accept known draws as fast as possible. Hikaru hurt both of them on purpose.
It's hysterical to see how many donkeys are justifying not taking the draw when its literally not possible for that man child hikaru to win, only way hikky wins there is if eric gets hit by a train or if one of hikaru viewers had to play that endgame, which i have to emphasize is physically IMPOSSIBLE to lose because opposite coloured bishops, because as we all know all of them are brainlets who get impressed when he premoves a ladder mate

It's kinda hard to make the argument here that the player who throws tantrums is not going to be as good as the calm and professional one
@@Ian-iy7sl hope he sees this bro
@@Ian-iy7sl Hikaru is not the best short-form player. There is no argument for it lol. He is only competitive for #1 ONLINE short-form player. Magnus' resume blows him out of the water overall. Btw, Hikaru isn't going to have sex with you.
@@fangiscool1 literally called him immature, cocky, and that he throws tantrums. Couldn't care any less for him. He's objectively a queer. But the guy was comparing Eric to Hikaru and sucking off Eric far harder than I was Hikaru
@@michae976 me too
Isn't it the same room that carlsen laugh his ass of hikaru when he could not win against him with two passed pawns?
This guy is ridiculous. God bless Eric
Everyone that loves Hikaru was probably not even alive when he played ICC and everyone hated him for being so petty and an overall snobby jerk…
What is ICC? Would like to know what he did to get the hate? Usual Hikaru behavior or something more.
Who else is here after Hikaru exposed himself after losing to Alireza?
I literally don't care, chat.
Edit: and I mean like i literally don't care, chat. Like, literally.
I don't care.
Hey guys can someone please tell me the name of the first song?
Evgeny Bardyuzha - Sooner or Later
Careful he might swing on you
Its a player's right to decline a draw. u cant complain
I can explain this to the people that don't understand. This tournament is a time limit, most points win. Finishing games quicker is strategically the best option for players. This was him basically taking Eric out of the tournament. You can complain, Hikaru is displaying bad sportsmanship.
I like Hikaru and Chessbrah. Nice game.
hikaru lacks emotional maturity
Got me a new guy to follow, Martin gellinas "Yeaaaaaaah Baby"...
If Hikaru flagged, he literally would not care and it would all be Eric's fault
Hikaru basically moaned to arbiter and tried to cuss Ali out to stop a losing streak - pure gamesmanship - low down dude
Maybe at like 900 elo... When it's super GMs it's just disrespect.
This is a surefire draw for anyone above 1500. In this tournament the best move is to accept known draws as fast as possible. Hikaru hurt both of them on purpose.
Don't leave me Senpai! Just a few more moves!
what
It's hysterical to see how many donkeys are justifying not taking the draw when its literally not possible for that man child hikaru to win, only way hikky wins there is if eric gets hit by a train or if one of hikaru viewers had to play that endgame, which i have to emphasize is physically IMPOSSIBLE to lose because opposite coloured bishops, because as we all know all of them are brainlets who get impressed when he premoves a ladder mate
Why do you insult someone’s fans for no reason? They didn’t do anything? You’re sitting here anonymously in comments calling people names…
I love the video of him drunk pulling a martial arts pose before you fight then a hard cut to him on the floor with you on top of him.
I would like to hear Hikaru's side. Does he think this sets a good example for his young viewers?
It’s funny that’s all
complaining while knowing damn well you loved it. Sportsmanship is boring, and not a real thing in a lot of cases. it's not like they had other things to do. if you dont want someone to not decline your draw, win.
This is the 4th video called "My problem with..." that I see in the chess community in a month. Botez sisters, Anna Cramling and Dina Belenkaya have also uploaded similar videos recently all roasting each other. Which makes me think that none of them have any problem really. This is just another content trend.
You are too stupid to differentiate genuine content from clickbaits.
Hikaru can be such a baby
at around 7:40-7:50 he moves his bishop back and forth from f8 to d6 which looks to be the inital draw offer that you rejected and then you made a comment "should i play on" when he was basically offering a draw. I think that's why he played on and rejected your draws becuase you rejected his. Am i interpreting this wrong?
i mean if hikaru wanted to offer a draw... there is a draw offer button lmao
@@adifferentusername999 yea true but he pre-moved one of his pieces about 9 times in the same direction which i feel is the same as formally offering
@@Byronherm Hansen obviously didnt even think about playing on lol, he said “Do we play on, because Hikaru likes to play on” which was obviously sarcastic.
@@Brien831 he wasn't moving his pieces very sarcasticly , he was looking at a draw offer of 9 repeated moves by his oppenent and didnt reciprocate, how is his oppenent suppose to read the sarcasm lol i agree though he did jokingly say that but if he really wanted a draw he should have taken it there
@@Byronherm Idk how can you possibly spin the whole narrative lmao. “If he wanted a draw…” no if hikaru wants a draw, make a draw offer. How can you be so childish not to accept draws for multiple minutes just because hansen didnt take the first three fold repetition… He literally offered a draw a few seconds later…
Hicki like to dance with you is gold , but that wizzing around the board was comical
Eric: *pays for groceries*
Hikaru: *Card declined*

if I dont see a chess boxing between Hikaru and Eric I would be disappointed.
Eric you are an amazing chess player but you will never win the Hikaru Nakamura Sportmanship Award. Sorry but the tooth hurts.
Dickaru Nakababy doing his thing. His loyal rimming community are the even worst. They defend all the actions of their lord and personal saviour no matter what.
