thank you very much. I live in Koreatown in LA and work in the studios. I am planning to move to Austin within 6-9 months and this is very helpful. Most videos I see is about buying property but renting is exactly what I am looking for. You have a new subscriber, and please make more videos like this. THUMBS UP
Austin used to be much cheaper before the Californians and tech people moved here. Most people in other cities around Austin like Round Rock avoid Austin now. You bring your politics to make Texas like Commiefornia.
@@rosiechannel2579 We need to start deporting Californians 😂 Maybe put an in n out burger ontop of a sustainably sourcd non plastic eco friendly frisbee and toss it to the Bay Area to lure them out. BTW that’s a great saying 😂 haven’t heard that one
Can you make a video on how you made friends post grad in Austin? 😢 I’m planning on moving to Austin either next summer or Fall 2023. It seems as when post grad people move there that they have an easy time making friends since most everyone living there are around 20-27 years old! Is making friends pretty easy? Also is making a friend group, people who you can go out regularly pretty easy as well?
Honestly making friends in Austin is sooo easy! You’re right- everyone who lives here are 20-somethings. I work at a place in Austin that’s all young people so I started making friends there, but then from going out and meeting friends of friends- we have a huge group! So I don’t think you’ll have any problems ☺️
This app is called Trail Wallet- it’s better to track budgets/expenses while you’re traveling. But it can work for everyday stuff too! You just input things manually instead of linking it to your bank account like other apps
Nightlife and good food are 2 main staples of Austin life! The best places to go out are on Rainey St & along 6th street (I prefer W. 6th or E. 6th over the middle section which is called “Dirty 6th” and has a lot more of a younger crowd)
Ooh I’m not sure about that. You typically have to put in your ID info & credit score- so as long as you could provide something similar I’m sure it would be just as easy
@@pheaganemokoena hello there, as someone who's been looking at moving to Austin for several years now I can tell you that one of the most important things is to shop around for apartments or houses in your price range... try multiple websites as not all options are listed on just one website. Austin is one of the fastest growing cities in the US so prices are already high, but they're currently even more expensive as a result of events going on in the world. Basically, there's a good chance you can find something you're comfortable with and can afford as long as you're patient and don't rush into an overpriced location. Also, its worth looking into the outskirts of Austin in places like Round Rock, which are still technically in Austin but aren't as expensive as being in the center of the city
@@pheaganemokoena you're welcome. Idk if you were asking more about any type of process you may need to go through when moving from another country. I don't know anything about how that works but I dont think any apartment would have an issue as long as you've done that other legal stuff of moving here. Anyways good luck!

That’s amazing!! I live in Orange County California I pay $3,800 for a 1 bedroom thinking of seriously moving to Austin Texas
Ya the rent is a crazy difference! I had a few friends living in 1 bedrooms that were $1,000! So different from SoCal. I highly recommend the move!
You people have made Austin even more weirder and expensive. And I know weird, I used to live in San Francisco and LA.
Just stay in California. Don’t come here. We’re full
