So much that if they're not from a big company with lots of money to promote, already have popular members from survival shows, or just get lucky enough to have a viral song, its hard for them to make it. Its very competitive.
I miss my babies SO, SO MUCH. Their label did them SO dirty. After PX101 & the success of "Nostalgic Night", their label should've pushed them HARDER than they did and unfortunately, they didn't. Yes, they were successful, but could've done way more. They completely dropped the ball on them. They were SO underrated and made AMAZING music. I hate their label so much for how they did them. I will forever be an ALICE & will continue to support the boys' individual activities!
I am still not over them disbanding. I love that Hanse is thriving. And Wooya has a new album out. But Subin hasn't been given work in so long. It makes me so sad. Their company should have done better. But Subin was featured on one of Wooyas songs!!

I've only been keeping up with hanse since he has been my bias for the longest. And he really is doing well and is happy and thriving everytime i check insta his followers are sky rocking and new ppl start joing him. And I really haven't seen subin much now that I think about it
As an Alice, I remember thinking after Choice that something felt wrong. Off. With Seungwoo gone from so many comebacks and With his and Hanse's solos taking off so well, Sejun immediately moving to musicals right before he enlisted, and so many other things I just had a feeling that Choice was it. And while Choice was such a good album, it's not a proper goodbye. I only got to be their fan for 2 years (What I Said, my queen) so I'm always torn up over their disbanding. Like so many other legends they didn't even get to say goodbye.
Victon is my ult group, i'm just so upset that I got here way too late. I never experienced them happy together. I have starting stanning them in april last year. I hope all the members are successful in their own projects.
i got to know about them in january 2021 when youtube suggested victon's live showcase and i was shocked bc i've never heard about them while these boys had everything - excellent vocals, rap, dance, visuals. and mvs were also great. but thats another story of a group from a small company that had talent and hard work but had no money and deserved promotion along with the reluctance of kpop fans to pay attention to groups that are not from the big4 : /
They debuted around the same time as WannaOne and then their company was a bit of a mess (so many name changes and mergers). Sadly even the K general public in general just stopped paying attention to idol groups from 3rd gen onwards. Unless you were from a "big 4" company and got to ride on the coattails of more famous sunbaes, or went on a Mnet survival program, there was no way the public would pay attention to you. I always felt like if they had debuted earlier they may have stood a better chance....who knows....
While Victon's situation seems close to a disbandment, I just hope that it is clear to everyone in here that there was NO official announcement that Victon has disbanded. Since their useless company likes being vague, I would like to think that this is a long, long, hiatus again. Members are hopeful that they would reunite one day. If you follow them, you would know that they do keep in touch (Subin even participated in Seungwoo's new song). I know non-fans would not care but to the members and Alices, it's kind of hurtful to hear people saying that they disbanded so I hope it stops.
It's really a shame they didn't make it bigger as individually they're all talented. Their song What I Said is just brilliant, one of my favourite Kpop songs of all time. Seungsik has such a good voice, and is just so lovely as a person too, and Sejun and Hanse I just love. Not everyone can make it I guess but with Victon it's really a shame. You can still follow them on their YT channel tho so maybe if you're not a fan, you could give it a look 🙂🙂
Victon’s disbandment really did hurt. I thought that they would flourish into a more known group but unfortunately after heochan everything just shifted after that. They had such great music it’s a shame not that many recognized them 😔

VICTON always deserved more than what they got. I was a massive ALICE and ulted Heo Chan. They were incredible when they got to be together and things just fell apart after Voice: TFIN Era and I fully blame the company. Every when MayDay came out, it was weird. They barely had time between the comeback before that. Wishing them the best as the move into other places in careers and their life.
Time of Sorrow was my introduction to them. I started listening more and more to them during Nostalgic Night era, watched their variety shows and produce x 101 content during the pandemic. I always wished that one day their career as a group would take off but their company fumbled it so badly. Sad that the were never given a proper goodbye as a group but at least they can do their own thing now.

Hope their voice will still light up the new world even in separation.

And that only because their contracts were extended so they could do their military service. Hanse and Seungwoo both have solo careers now, Byungchan is just an actor/musical actor on his new profiles, and Subin is working on releases with a new music company. 3 man VICTON will end when those contracts end. Sadly. 😢

There’s a lot of groups where some members leave the company but they are still part of the group. Until they themselves announced it that the disbanded that’s when I’m going to believe it

The problem is if they are only selling at the most 33k albums while other groups in bigger entertainment companies like HYBE where groups sell millions of millions of albums and a lot of endorsements.

as ALICE since Time of Sorrow and still today, it was extremely difficult to see them split up in the first place for X1, as we had no idea how long the group would last or whether Seungwoo would return to make a comeback again as 7, in view of his upcoming military service. To be honest, it was really hard as a fan, but I think in a way it hardened the love and determination to see our favorite band become more popular and deserving after their complicated journey. The final twist is rather sad (since then, Seungwoo, Seungsik and Sejun have also left the agency), Seungwoo's departure in X1 was heartbreaking especially during the concerts, but I'll always have splendid memories of seeing them blossom into their dreams and having the experience of being popular. I miss them and forever love them 💙💛

I really liked that one song from their debut days and Byungchan was my favorite. Wasn't aware they've been through so much. Weren't they supposed to be A-pink's brother group?
