You are hilarious and so real. My momma and sister are looking into becoming Medical Asisstants and they want me to do it but I'd prefer PCT and maybe if that gets old I'd do thud, but until then 🤷🏽♀️.
love the video❤️. I drop out of my program when I was supposed to go to my externship. Hopefully, I can get back into it without going through the whole thing.
I'm in medical billing and coding. I graduate in July. Everything is online at the moment but hopefully I can share more about what I'm learning. Plus I have sickle cell disease so I talk about that. I def enjoyed watching.

We're both from the same city, I noticed once you passed the Ameristar Casino I live right down the road from there! Im honestly torn between becoming a Medical Assistant or becoming a Rad tech. Im a pre-med and I just need the clinical experience, I might just take a few gap years though.
Heyy neighbor! Lol if you feel like you should take some time off do what’s best for you’ I suggest getting as much experience as you can while completing your ultimate goal though. & both MA & Radiology tech are great ways. Look into which one you like more & tap in while getting that degree!
@@Shakyraspeaks Most Def, i'm hesitant about the rad tech program because its a 3 year program and those credits aren't transferable. I might get back into the MA program, your video was definitely a sign from above. If you're interested, could you possibly do study with me vlogs? I'm always getting distracted when trying to study, so being able to sit and act like I have a study buddy would help out immensely. LMAO

Imma little late. Just came across ur video since I’m looking these up but I’m in an MA program now and thanks to lovely Covid it’s all online. There’s no hands on and I get to take the exam at the end. Will I be able to get a job still after even though there’s no hands on?

Hey boo! Do you know if I can apply to any type of office (like adult or pediatrics) with just a general medical assistant certification? I really want to work with kids as well!
do you ever experience imposter syndrome when your coworkers are older than you? maybe ever feel like you don't belong there cause you have less experience than they do?
Hi! Can you please give me an advice? I really like to work in the medical field just checking in patients something easygoing but I am worried about my deafness and not being able to use my right arm.
Hii!! Apply to a program and let people know your concerns! You can do whatever you put your mind to. Find a position that you are going to be able to work effectively in’ wishing you the best.
Hi, Do you have to have a diploma from medical field before you can take MA program? I want to get this MA certificate but I'm not sure if they look for requirements like that before taking this.
Hey how are you? I have a question! So I just started working at a hospital last month. I currently work in the evs department. I’m thinking about becoming a pct but I want to work on the mother baby floor. Do you have to have your cna or can you become one by getting getting a certificate for medical assistant? If all fails I wouldn’t mind being a medical assistant but I want to work with babies
Hey! Thanks for watching. You can get a pct certification or train on the job to become a patient care tech. If you want to work in hospitals I suggest getting a PCT certification because medical assistants typically don’t get hired at hospitals. I hope this answered your question.
I know in the hospital I worked at I started out doing transport and applied for a medial assistant I position in the women’s cancer center. I was actually considered for the position but they hired someone else for it. They are willing to train you in the hospital for a medical assistant but you would have to go back to school for like a medical assistant I or II. I actually have an interview this week for a medical assistant position in urology and I applied for a few more that say in consideration. For a medical assistant I you don’t need must experience because they will train you but I happened to have office experience working in radiology and the breast center in the hospital front desk. I’m hoping all goes well
Was medical assistant School hard??..how did you pass the program..?? Is medical assistant hard in general..i want to start school for it but i don't think im capable or smart enough to pass the classes or certification exam
