I think, its more like Athrun can process several minor details than Kira in exchange for shorter range, and probably even have slight precognition or has good planning skills for said details. He was able to determine which is the real units like Destiny's Time Lags or the BK Duplicates unlike Kira who got a hard time and even got defeated by them.

So basically The infinite justice type 2 is not just a close combat monster with. freaking 10 blades it's also a ranged burst monster now with 7 beams in total.. wild my all time fav Gundam and pilot in gundam history
Kind of funny that Athrun is the melee-oriented fighter but he's the only one who never used an anti-ship sword. Personally, I think InJa II is a lame upgrade. Destiny II gets the Zeus silhouette, SF II gets the Proud Defender, and InJa II? Gets a Z'Gok shell and a few more beam blades. Honestly, they could've given it beam saber DRAGOONs and it would've been cooler with the open ports serving as beam blade a la Victory Gundam

They destroy the zgok armour but the justice is undamaged even tho it’s phase shift armour wasnt activated? So those needles should have gone thru the justice killing Athrun and destroying it.
@@Reidemna Probably this. The needles were designed to disable PS armor, so they likely focused more on spreading damage over a wide area rather than pure penetrating power.

well athrun always sent his back pack to clash into the target so the beam wing helps it the back pack come back better i guess or make it more deadly lol

Beam blade horn reminds me of Alteissen from srw now that i think about their both similar in many ways being red and close range units too bad the Alt is so heavy it cant fly even with flight system which sounds weird but the thing is so heavy and unstable the flight system keeps it stable

I think Athrun always had the Infinite Justice. What Shinn was piloting at the start of the movie was the Immortal Justice. A different mobile suit entirely, like the Rising Freedom is a different suit from the Strike Freedom.
When Athrun Zala tried imitating Kyosuke Nambu... unfortunately... getting rammed by a 100t PT head-on with a plasma horn is alot more brutal than something that's around 50-75t who need to head butt something to do massive damage.....
for real tho, it'd be really cool if Alteisen would have something like IJT2 head beam blade. heat horn is cool and all, but i want to see Alteisen do a flip while cut the enemy(s). not to mentioned, it won't ruin Alt gimmick of "being a real robot" as the armament is still relatively "conventional".

Yes all 3 of them use that engine which also puts them in violation of the treaty. Its why the Immortal Justice and Rising Freedom exist and are used when they are representing Compass

I don't think Athrun can use the super dragoons as effective as someone with special awareness because the super dragoons have a computer built in it so a normal pilot can use it. But from what I heard Shinn did have a new type flash while Athrun didn't. It think if Strike Freedom was equipped with the first generation dragoon system he would not be able to use it like Rey or Mu or Rau could have.
The legend Gundam was designed with Ahrun in mind as the pilot and if Mau is piloting the Akatsuki with The dragoon system I don't think it would be a problem for Athrun to use it it's just not his preferred method of fighting.
@@SasukeY2JItachi not really Legend Gundam was not designed with anyone in mind just an upgrade to Providence and Providence Zaku. Mu can use Akatsuki because of his genes and the CE version of newtyple flash. Athrun does not have the newtype flash abilities so Legend relies on a quantum computer. But since Rey is a clone of Mu's dad he should have a better ability in using it over Athrun.

He's the coolest SEED character.
It's interesting that he has less spatial awareness then Kira, Mu La Flaga, Rau Le Creuset and Rei. However he is the best in close quarters combat.
