Sir,I do live in Canada. There are many crimes happens involving Shikh community. I noticed that not a single sikh come forward to speak against any wrong doings by few miscreants. Why Sikh leaders are not coming forward?

I am puzzled by Mr. Milewsky's desperate defence of his govt. On the one hand he insists Indian govt should request Canada, US,UK etc to extradite these individuals who are wanted criminals in India and at the same time narrates the ridiculous response of the Canadian govt in 1980s when the Indian govt had requested the extradition of people involved in Kanishka crash which killed hundreds of innocent passengers. What reason do we Indians have to believe that this time round the response would have been less asinine, specially given the track record of all Canadian politicians when it comes to appeasing their "vote banks".
The west particularly the five eyes have a nasty record of interference in other countries to suit their selfish interests going back centuries. They have gone to the extent of ousting elected govts and orchestrating assassinations of heads of state/govt. Some of us are old enough to remember the CIA's assassination of our late PM Lalbahadur Shastri and Dr. Homi Bhabha a nuclear scientist. Neither of them was a terrorist or had harmed the west in any way. CIA agent Crowley (the Crow) himself later boasted of having assasinated them. Even Indira Gandhi's assassination - what exactly was the role of the west we would like to know considering the quick defence of khalistani elements then and now. We Indians may not be as smart as the west but we are not as stupid as they would like us to be. Afterall we have over 2 centuries of firsthand experience of the duplicity and greed of the Anglo-Saxon mindset.
I'm sorry to be rude but we Indians have had enough of western hypocrisy and sanctimonious preaching about democratic values and rule of law.

It was a wonderful session. I was waiting for an issue to be raised but it was missed. The issue is that when someone like Riddhi Patel says something offensive, it is taken as threat and she is arrested but when someone like Pannu openly calls for killing of Indian diplomats and Hindu genocide and when Indian Govt. has clearly identified him as a terrorist, it is still ignored as freedom of speech/expression. Would have loved to hear Terry's thoughts on this because at one point he had said that someone doesn't become a terrorist just because someone claims so. Obviously both the cases mentioned above comitted the same act but one was arrested and the other was protected.
Easy because pannu used wordplay with it calling hindus that there would be dire consequences for it and US and Canada's lackluster for anything to be done

Canadian Police has not charged Nijjar and Boyle for the murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik even when he complained about the threats and harassment he faced from the two.. Nor it has acted against the ISI and Khalistani involved in terrorist activities named by Jaswant Singh Thekedar X Khalistani member. According to Canadian law agencies Ripudaman Singh Malik murder had foreign government hand, his case and Mr.Nijjar’s case are very similar, murdered by the same elements. 99 percent Sikhs were pro India, nobody can harass them it total lie, they don’t live in the third world. Good discussion which is very useful in understanding this topic. One correction however is that Hindus are not 8% in Canada but 2.3%. So although they are more than Sikhs but still less than Muslims who are around 5%.
Aadi needs discuss boldly ambiguous information with these types of journalists ...these topics need to come upfront in these interviews, host should not go into a shell and have a ridiculous we all agree on each other POV and all is sorted moment, sometimes disagreeing on issues also adds a good divergent value. Good discussion. It gives us a perspective of how the Americans and Canadians view the Khalistani movement.
However, the retort given by the guest here to the question as to why initiate a diplomatic row does not seem to be deep enough. What if Canadian govt tries to kill someone extra judicially? Well that may not happen because India has not been interfering or extending support to any separatist movements in the West. Not just West, even in Pakistan for instance, the Baloch struggle does not get any favor from the Indian state.
It is very clear that the West is feeling the heat of Indian progress and independent policy making. They are no longer able to leverage the fault lines within India and therefore they are taking elaborate measures to malign the Indian state. We simply don't care what your opinions are. We'll prioritise our national interests first.

The only problem for Canada is economy…. Its GDP was 1.6 trillion i. 2008 and now around 2.1 trillion that to with around 20 million immigrants between this period which was just offsetting the growth
Now per capita GDP is just increased by 10-15% from 2007-8 to 2024 that’s like 1% average increase from 45k to 52-54k
Same time india gdp increased from 1 trillion to nearly 4 trillion and in next 15 years it will be 10 trillion per capita will be small but it’s increased from 600 dollar to 2500 and it will be 10000 dollar in next 12-15-18 years and PPP basis it will be 25000-30000 dollar per capita…. So once Canada was looking at india as a poor small country which they can’t call it now and in next 20 years the gdp growth will make them tiny like they feel helpless against China right now…
It’s not about per capita gdp but India grow by 300 billion dollar a year and Canada grow by 40 billion dollar …. If Canada want higher growth india is the market because this 300 billion dollar expansion is the big market and they are going to miss the train with their current RaGa

On the surface everything might look great but try to read between the lines especially the “Red lines” that everyone keeps mentioning. Terry knows United States, Canada and the other eyes are doing deep investigations all possible links and connections now looking at all possible sources and evidence and Terry’s name just might come up so he’s very careful in choosing his words and his alliance with now because he doesn’t want anything linking him with connections with the Indian government especially back in the 80’s when he was very active in writing up negative articles about Sikhs and the Khalistan movement, he was accused many times by the Sikh organizations back then but they didn’t have any evidence of him working with the Indian government. My advice to you is go back and watch the video again and try to dissect everything line by line Garcetti is saying carefully.

On the whole great discussion and good on you to call such distinguished experts as guests. It raises standards of not just your show, but Indian natsec and geopolitics UA-cam.
I noticed several points to ponder--
1. Mr. Milewsky is one of the fairer ones of western press, and even he is fully into this sanctimonious lecturing rhetoric of "Oh, this is illegal, cant let them get away with this", and "right to fair trial" and all that. He will justify OBL, but not the sham trial of poor Saddam from whose backyard no WMDs were ever found. A WASP, however wonderfully coloured, will still carry a sting.
2. He again, thinks that this sort of making a huge issue out of Pannun & Nijjar will somehow embarass desis into kicking Modi out is borne out of severe lack of knowledge regd. how India works. He was absolutely cocksure that our govt is shitting bricks and scared to death. He was visibly taken with surprise when you pointed out that this is backfiring-- " Are you sure?!!" LOL. If justice is willfully obstructed for nefarious gains, and when such obstruction of justice gives rise to national security concerns, Indians will always respect the old world way of dealing using "principles of natural justice". This does not stop with Indians. The entire global south and Russian-bloc is watching, and chuckling, and giving us shabbashi on our backs! This sort of running at full speed in the wrong direction is the result of cultivating Lutyens and getting inputs only from them. It's as absurd as getting Kanhaiya Kumar to fight elections (hey, wait.. Oh!). Of course, there is always the dangers of pushing the "green" button and causing unrest in the country which I am sure the agencies are dealing with, as we speak.
3. Mr. Milewsky sorts of casually drops in a soft-racist remark that India "has a history" of just asking to extradite a random guy, calling him a terrorist without showing evidence. That's just euphemism for a 3rd world banana republic wanting to eliminate political opponents unfairly. Here we are, in our own lala-land where we consider ourselves a responsible power.
3. I was slightly disappointed that while you pointed out Nijjar's mysterious entry into Canada, it could have also been pointed out that Pannun was originally put in the "No Fly List" by the US admin (meaning --calling him a terrorist openly), and then not only does he gain entry into the US even more mysteriously, he is also allowed to carry on his anti-India activities unabated, and the US also openly provides him cover, even to the extent of antagonising a current regional power and potential superpower. So the question to be asked was .. why should we not consider you and your Yankee elder brother "white pakistan". Your state sponsors terrorists.
4. Finally, one should also take note of the understandable frustration of Canadians when they came to know that the fissile material they are provided for nuclear power plants was used to "make Buddha smile" in 1974. The fledgling K movement was then actively supported by Pierre Trudeau. I believe some sort of gesture is necessary to let them know that it was necessary for those times, that it was never intended to be used against the west, and of course, that history proves us right. May be we tried this already, I dont know ..

Since Terry is being so logical: Terry, you stated that Indira Gandhi (40+ years ago) politely asked the Canadians to hand over terrorists (AI bombing etc.). It was rejected based on the absurd logic of "because India does not recognize the Queen".
Over the past 40+ years India has asked for return of terrorists and criminals many times. Sure, in some instances, as you stated, Indian law enforcement may not have presented a strong or even basic case but let's assume that half were well presented. Or even 25%.
Canada did nothing other than ignore because "we are superior" ? Or for what reason ? This is problem #1.
So, now how is the Nijjar situation any different than what you, Terry, stated for the Bin Laden case where "US knew they could not get justice in Pakistan, hence they conducted an extra-judicial killing" - your words, Terry - but you accepted this particular case. India also knows it can't get justice in Canada based on past history .....etc. How is the 2nd a slippery slope (as you stated) while the 1st is not ? Problem #2.
And Problem #3 is how are you going to justify all the extra-judicial activity conducted by the western countries for very, very long ? In many cases publicly self-incriminating themselves with 0 consequences i.e. they publicly admitted to the deed.
On a serious note, now that the logic has been demolished, What is your solution ? What is country #1 to do where country #2 actively harbors terrorists and criminals, and does not want to cooperate ?
Note that I would even grant you (for the sake of discussion) that Canada presented lots of evidence prior to the public statements and India did not listen. So, what ? What about all the times Canada did not listen ?
And the above type of logic (as presented by Terry) is the problem when people start having double standards. The logic breaks apart very quickly.
