in 1994 i had a 1990 mustang GT 5.0 auto, 2:73 rear gears, ran a 15.1 in the 1/4 mile. 😂. It went on to get a built 351W, Paxton centrifugal supercharger with a NOS 100 dry shot, tremec HD3550 trans, 3:73 rear gears, edebrock performer RPM upper/lower, AFR aluminum heads, B-303 FRPP bumpstick, and was pretty fun to drive after that 😂
When people run e50 instead of e85, is that because the stock turbos are maxed out or is that because the injectors/fuel pump are maxed out? curious what it takes to run un-mixed e85 on these
That is SICK! I am in the works of doing addons to my 22 ST. Not looking to get this but I love the ST. I would like to get around 500+ HP. By this time next year I will have it "I would like to do it sooner but I have a wife lol". AWESOME VID! Freaking sleeper build at it's finest! 👍👍
I see all of these videos of modified STs. I have and ST Explorer and never hear about any transmission upgrades. Are they modified as well or are they that tuff from the factory?
Do you guys use catch cans on your explorers and which one is the one to install on a 2023 ford explorer and do I need to install one I’m not racing it just a normal suv.
This is on stock turbos . I'm trying to choose between CR Performance stage 5 and pure turbos what are they making these days . I see a lot on pure turbos just not much or CR Performance Turbos.
This is gonna sound crazy, but it is probably the air deflector/covers on the bottom of the car. They used plastic pins to hold them in and they have likely fallen apart. Got them changed and the rattle was gone.
@devinpatel5555 it's under warranty. The only issue is waiting for the stealership to get the parts in to fix it. During the current supply chain crisis, I have to wait a month or so to get it fixed. Even though, I can get the same ford oem parts in 3 days from rock auto, which the service department won't install. The current regime's SOP for doing things absolutely sucks for customers.
99% of guys running 10’s have/need upgraded turbos. That’s an easy 4-5K there. Then you need exhaust mods, which is another 3-4K. IF the trans holds, great. If not, 8-10K for a built trans. Now on to fuel, you will need to probably run E50/E60, which requires the nostrum pump, injectors, etc. and that alone is almost 4k. Add another 1K for the intercooler and $750 for a tune, plus the MPv3i which is $400 plus $250 in credits for tuning. Lot more than 7K. LOL.
@@nonchaalant Show me an ST running 10's with stock downpipes/exhaust on the stock fuel system and stock turbos that isn't completely gutted with a 50LB driver. I'll wait.
Amazing work. Groundbreaking platform. Now I just imagine Dominic Toretto saying "you owe me a 10-second Ford Explorer" 😂
My bone stock ST is running 14.1 classifiers now. Absolutely insane to be able to do that in an SUV at 5,600 ft elevation.
14.1 is pretty good for stock at over 5000 ft!
Simple tune on E50 will do you pretty well.

MYP does high 11s and cheaper than an ST by a long shot

This is awesome. Can't wait to see how far this platform goes before engine internals are needed
Internals are already forged
Love your guys work, you guys take dialing in cars to a whole other level! plz make more vids on here you guys deserve a huge following!
Awesome man, such a moment, thanks for sharing. 🙂
I’d love to see a video breaking down the build on this Explorer ST!!
Glad to see you guys all you guys pushing this platform to the limit.
That baby rolls! I had no idea and will need to boost up my game when I see the ST power.
Ken Kyle isnt going to appreciate this.😮. He is a mad genius, and wouldn't be surprised if he already isnt hard at work.
Can we also acknowledge how accurate the Dragy is!!
I'm just an 18 ExSport owner jealous of the ST owners. Would love to get half the gap improvement on my 18.
I know this is probably a secret, but have you dyno'd this ST?! Super curious!
That's getting it done Ford power forever baby keep on pulling the knot out of them boties and the horns off them mopars l love it
Man this is absolutely insane! Definitely gotta get me one of these one day
Tesla what??? That’s awesome!
What are the exact mods ? Stg 1 built trans, tune, still on twins?.big single ? Stock frame twins?
You made an explorer beat a gtr ? Take my money🤣🤣
How much does something like this cost? Great content btw
The Vehicle and about $20k
need to see that run against paul’s x3 m
I’m gonna pick one up soon and want to build straight to 1000hp
RSA can build it
Excuse the ignorance, is this still an unopened engine? No bottom end work at all?
Nope. It’s factory
Hot damn Cousin Ethyl!! Shoo Wee!!
That’s sick!
Sounds good

CJ, I just bought these for my RWD ST and they don't seem to fit. It feels off. Did they feel off when you all installed yours?
As far as I understand, 10r60 has a lot of problems. What needs to be done to ensure that this automatic transmission works stably for a long time?
Leave it stock lol
Gut it and I bet it pulls 9s same setup

This is with Stage 5 crp turbos
That's crazy!
What engine mods are needed to attain this?
Have you had to replace ur axle half shaft yet my St is stock I don't race it and I had to replace it already?
Crazy
👍
What engine these got? Lol did alright. Not bad at all.
Does the owner pick up his kids with that thing?
That thing sounds angry
hell yeah.
Side note: my 2023 ST has the front rattle. Anyone know exactly what it is? Ive heard shock tower brace...

What size tires and size are you guys running?? This thing hooks
It's awd
Still get gapped by a downpipe and tune BMW X3M 😂
Yeah at 3x the cost. Woohoo. I'll gap the absolute shit out of the X3M in my POS 33 year old DSM.
$60k for the Explorer and $90k for X3M. 3x the price?
Comparing the x3m is not a same class comparison. That's like comparing ford mustang to a mclaren
124 trap is a record?
How many runs can you get out of the ptu?
Pretty sure it’s more of a conventional transfer case than a ptu. Should be stronger
What mix of fuel are running?
E85 i believe
How much does everything run to get in 10s?? $9k or more?
Probably over 20K.
to hit 11's all you need is an intercooler and tune, so less than $2k, i'd believe $7k-$10k would hit 10's

No. It’s AWD.
