Ok. Being genuine here. Wholesome is great and loving and showing love to your partner is most important. Some jokes about hating your partner are cringy but most of the joking between my wife and I are us recognizing our own superficial faults and embracing the fact that their existence is not important. She'll joke about my fading hair or I'll joke about her being short, we'll each playfully overreact our feelings being hurt, then laugh about it. It's just a silly thing you do with someone you're spending your life with. Flaws don't need to be something to get upset about, own that shit and it can never be used against you, someone else said that but I agree with it.
I was a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding and she calls me up to tell me that I wasn't smiling in any of the photos and I had to spill the beans on the fact that there was a f*cking hornets' nest just chilling right above our parents. I saw it went Oh my god and my cousin whispered shut up, shut up, shut up, just ignore it! No one got stung, no one noticed it and my boyfriend sat in the back row because of it.

Home Goods sells surplus decor items, linens, and small furniture - mainly things like kitchen gadgets, plates & cups, sheets & towels, lamps and knickknacks for an end table or desk, storage containers, etc. Mostly these are overstock that didn't sell in first-run stores so are available at a discount compared to sticker prices. The flip side is what's there is there; you can't rely on them to have a specific item in stock. it's a great store for browsing because you don't know what they're going to have.
That “you day” video had me crying happy tears for some reason. Just the little things made him so happy, and I absolutely want to have that sort of relationship with someone just so we can do that for each other.
homegoods is a store for buying home decor, like throw pillows and lamps and knick-knackey things. they have a limited selection of furniture as well, and when it's christmas they go BONKERS, like enough decorations to cover every square inch of your house in christmas.
