You guys are reading my mind I’ve been deep in spreadsheets doing the math. Transferable currencies, especially during transfer bonuses or when the airlines put flights on sale, will win out over 4% everything but…like under “normal” circumstances…dang 4% everything is sweet.
I did a pivot table analysis yesterday and for 2023, I got 2.3cpp on economy flights and 4.6cpp on overall flights; 3.5cpp on Hyatt and 1.5cpp on Wyndham. Even with points we are still at the stage of focusing on value so the CPP are not impressively high. I still target 2+ CPP for my redemptions but I will take 4% Cashback everywhere over any of my 2x catch all cards except C1VX when it comes to purcashes abroad
Hey there! I’m planning to visit London in September and am having a hard time finding ways to use my Marriott free night certs for 3 adults in one room. I tried doing 2 rooms but that is disallowed and family designated rooms are cash only. We are using London as a landing pad for visits to Munich and N. Italy and might just skip a visit. Any advice appreciated. Seems like the other programs don’t allow this either.
🎉I just can't trust US Bank will keep the 4% smartly card for long before nerfing it. Everyone thinks this is a no risk deal, but I'd have to open up a savings account, move over $100k or $250k of investments. That's a lot of extra hassle and then if they nerf it after 6 months.
Did he really say he can't get the full $200 from the amex platinum? if you can't get $200 out of that credit then you definitely don't travel enough to have the platinum thats crazy

Happy New Year 🍾🎈🎉
if you earn 3x pts that's about the same as 4% with the added optionality of transferring
Amex blue cash is 6% on groceries
nick- I'm also stuck at 5/24 until July. time to open a new business?
what's the catch of the simply card?

I seriously don't think anyone would be here if they qualified for the 4% smartly.

I qualify for it!
I got it 2 months ago. I’m pretty old😂
