I was approved for SSDI at age 58 due to severe back problem and mental income issues. What is the likelihood of a review in 5 years at age 63. Thank you

The likelihood of review depends on how SSA categorized your case and whether they expect improvement to be made to your physical and/or mental condition such that you can return to work. Generally, that likelihood goes down as you get older, but I have seen some cases of older individuals at a hearing for their continuing disability review.

I'm older than Yoda now is that going to be better for me?

Ha - it depends on what your past work consists of, as one of the reasons disability claims are a bit easier as you get older has to do with transferability of skills. Feel free to book a call if you would like to chat about your specific situation!

Hi, in my late 50s filing for disability as medical issues disqualify me from CDL driving. Any who My hands are tied but the motor carriers have their edict. Oh well, too old to go back to 🏫 😆
