  • Hey, ya'll! Today's video is YOGA FOR ASTHMA! This practice was suggested by one of my subscribers, so if that was you, thank you! During this practice, we'll be doing poses that open the chest & stretch the muscles around the lungs. During an asthma attack, many of your muscles become tense. Yoga can help to relax these muscles (which is what asthma medication does) to reduce mucus & swelling. There has been some research done on how yoga can help with asthma (I'll leave links down below). Hopefully, with regular practice, you'll be able to see improvements in your body.     thank you Nico. I'll have to try this one soon. I can confirm yoga has helped with my asthma. It has increased my lung capacity. Yoga has helped me be more aware about my breath. Bringing the breath into the belly has helped me better cope with asthma attacks. Peace and love and a huge thank you for this practice!

    Yesterday, the doctor told me they think it is probable that I have asthma, so I decided to see if you had a yoga routine for that. Of course, I was not disappointed! This was an incredibly effective routine, Nico. Thank you so much.

    Have to sing today but my throat wasn’t cooperating, plus asthma and allergies were kicking my butt. Just did this and feel better than I have in weeks. Bless you, Nico

    this is super helpful for me, I have severe asthma and a lot of it i believe stems from the anxiety and tenseness i carry in my body. i’m currentely on a strong steroid to open my lungs and this helped me so so much especially with this air quality being trash, i literally love you
