Saw them in Limerick and Cork in the 80s. What a powerful sound they had. If this doesn't get you out of bed in the morning nothing will. Just magnificent.
oh God I am nearly in tears listening to this haven't heard it in sooo long takes me right back to a time before half my family passed away! heartache!
thanks for the memories of the pink elephant (limerick) the guys were so cool and kind to all us other would be rock stars, they gave us support slots when no one else would.!! respect to mike, dave, ralph and beany. up limerick, love from the wilson cloud chamber (defunct).
Forgot how good they were. Ray Fean and Dave Keary amazing musicians and nice guys. Forgot how intense Mike was. Miss all the old music heads from that era. Tuesday Blue were outstanding always will be but did like Tucandance too and the Rythmn Sector. Must hunt down that CD . Have to have it now I've found this. Memories ...
Great song from the eighties. Fantastic Limerick band. The lead guitarist, Dave Keary has to be one of the finest musicians in the country, even to this very day. I think he started off playing drums. Great stuff.
I just Shibumi in yesterday, ordered online. I just put Tuesday Blue in a search engine and found several places where you can get it. It's a great cd glad I hunted it down.
Fantastic! I heard this one only ONCE on MT-USA back in the 80s, and I've been looking for it ever since... My search wasn't helped by the fact that I couldn't remember the name of the band!
yes it is. Ray was with a band called Emerald (from Shannon, Co Clare) before TB. I can't remember what others but he was playin around the Shannon / Limerick area. savage drummer!

@Supersweetguy Shibumi is the name of the album Tunnel Vision was on. The whole album is great. It was a surprise because I just discovered it 2 years ago and I am still enjoying listening to it even though it is over 20 years old!
I was a big U2 fan in the mid 80's, so i was interested in anything connected with them. I remember them setting up Mother Records and listening to Tuesday Blue, I still have the 12" of this song, and also other bands on Mother, like Cactus World News, good times.
the drummer is the man ray fean, brother of johnny fean of horslips fame.!! and yes currently with celtic woman, and riverdance before that. a talented guy and a gentleman to boot.
Love it! I remember seeing this on a local music show in 1986, which I think this was taken from, as it segued into In Tua Nua "Seven Into The Sea" from the Self Aid concert which I think is the brief clip right at the end. Saw them play the Limelight in Belfast in '89, fantastic gig.
Dave is currently playing with Van Morrison and running his own studio, lovely fella. Think Ray Fean is involved in a blues band based out in Shannon? Ralph Lindheim is still gigging around town, I played with him last Sunday - another gent.
Dave and Ray went touring with Riverdance (open to correction), thats after Ray had a stint with No Sweat, not too sure what Mike and Ralph got up to post Tuesday Blue. They have played in Dolans Limerick recently, keep an eye out for them.
I was 9 or 10 years old when I bought my first cassette albums. Two, "The Pet Shop Boys" and "Tuesday Blue". Thank you for this!
Another great band without Wikipedia entry.

Mike Ryan and Ray Fean------- shapers supreme as in "are you watching us?" cos we think we're great.
