So amazingly helpful. I can't believe this has so few views. How is it that crap gets to have millions of subscribers and views and genuine diamond content like this gets relegated. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this piece of work and it has helped me. I suffer from high function anxiety as an executive and I relate to all of what you said in here. Planning for me is everything and it's physically painful not to plan and plan and plan. Love this!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Kevin! I'm so glad this has helped you. I think planning and organizing is an often overlooked way of decreasing high-functioning anxiety and I'm glad you found value in this!
I've just come across your videos. I really like your content. Honestly, I feel I have Low Functioning Anxiety, if that is a Thing. I definitely relate to experiencing 'burnout'. I pretty much collapsed at the end of 2020 and checked out of life. I've isolated for the past four years but can 'hide' it well when I do interact with others. I'm starting to emerge (no income and that needs my attention). Your advice is helping me to face, "what do I do now?" - "where do I begin?" A thousand thanks!! 😄
❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much! I wish I have known this when I was a teenager. ❤️ but never too late for me and for others. 1. Choose one method (simplify) Ex. To do lists app google calendar projects & etc. choose one that works for you (note have it in one place) 2. Write everything down 3. Schedule time for writing & organizing example: make Friday to write next week plan. It’s ok to be seem rigid having a plan ♥️ ❤️Know your goals for clarity. (Goodbye to overwhelm) --------- 1) What would make me feel accomplished today? 2) What have I been avoiding? (Do them!!! ) 3) How can I break down bigger tasks into smaller one? (Schedule day to day ) 4)What are the multiple things that make me feel overwhelmed? 5) How can I organize just one-thing-today? (baby steps)
You're so welcome! Thanks so much for breaking this down and I absolutely agree- it's never too late! Unfortunately these aren't things that are taught in school!
Groovy. Nice to know I'm not losing my mind and failing at life. Been looking for a few years for help with the never ending swirling mind. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find ONE app to suffice. I've tried the one's mentioned because I do write everything down. But like you said, it's all in different places, digital and physical paper. You popped up on my youtube just yesterday. Wondering why in all of my searches over the past few years, I have never seen you before. Thank you so much for what you do. To other people, I'm very organized, and a planner. Why, then, do I feel so out of sorts all the time? Why am I missing (forgetting) appointments, both personal and professional? I feel so ashamed and scatterbrained. I beat myself up tremendously over these things. Which then makes me feel ever worse.
