    💛 FUN FUN FUNCTION
Since 2015, Fun Fun Function (FFF) is one of the longest running weekly UA-cam shows on programming 🏅 thanks to its consistency and quality reaching 200,000+ developers.
🤦‍♂️ The Failing Together concept is what makes FFF unique. Most coding content out there focus on step-by-step tutorials. We think tutorials are too far removed from what everyday development is like. Instead, FFF has created a completely new learning environment where we grow from failure, by solving problems while intensively interacting with a live audience.
Tutorials try to solve a problem. Failing Together makes you grow as a developer and coworker.
📹 Each show is recorded live on Twitch in a 2-hour livestream on Mondays. The host, assisted by the audience, is tasked to complete a programming challenge by an expert guest. Like in the real world, we often fail, and learn from it. This, of course, reflects what the audience identifies with, and is one of the most praised aspects of the show.
⏯ On Fridays, an edited version of the show is adapted for and published on UA-cam.
Content Topics revolve around: JavaScript, Functional Programming, Software Architecture, Quality Processes, Developer Career and Health, Team Collaboration, Software Development, Project Management

It usually gets stuck when you hit a difficult problem and little time to solve it properly. I get motivated again when I realize I can still ship it.

A couple things can help with this.
The main thing I would aim for is minimal cognitive load.
    - sticking to a consistent project structure could be helpful(less cognitive load)
    - using typescript or typed language with descriptive interface names makes things a lot easier.
Make your code read like a recipe or a book, and you will be much better off.

I'd love to see you discuss Proxy() . Turns out, it's a great way to make objects immutable :)

The part about whether or not you truly want to ship a product can not be emphasized enough! Once a project has external users, your ego will take a hit. If you want to keep your users, it will no longer be a pet-project or a hobby. Once shipped, it will not work perfectly for everyone, it will have errors. All your testing that you were so confident about will definitely help but it won't prevent issues in an environment outside your own. Maintaining your system and watching it grow based on user feedback is a totally different game.

How about a series on using Haskell for Web Assembly? Learning Haskell is great for mastering FP, and Web Assembly is a great tool for a dev's toolbox.

So so true. Changing techs is always about trade-offs. You can't pick really correct tech even for your small-mid pet project. And we still keep to jump from one tech to another because "I don't want to do shitty decisions from start. This thing should scale!". fuck it, just do it. anything that works is already better designed than nothing.

I always had this strange feelings path on every project: I am a little bit disappointed when it start and when a milestone has variations/adjustements, but at the end, when the project ends, in that very moment, I feel that I miss those situations already. I think I'm not alone in that I guess. Am I?...
