@@tsm688 Like I said, just steal one from a KFC, they always got em. The newer skeletonized ones are lighter but the oldschool beige ones are basically indestructible, you gotta get those outta your grandma's junk drawer tho.

Tannins are also found in teas, which gives it its astringency. From what I can find with a relatively soeedy google search, the largest danger from using oak for food surfaces (bowls, spoons, etc.) is that it tends to have relatively large pores and absorbs a lot of moisture, which can lead to a breeding ground for bacteria when later exposed to air. It takes a decent amount of tannin for it to kill a person, but it can cause an upset stomach eating a small to moderate amount of it. The amount that would leech from using an oak bowl or spoon would be probably small enough to cause no issues.

If there are sassafras trees in your area you can also brush your teeth with the twigs from them. Just twist one off and chew it until it’s all fuzzy looking and you’ve got a disposable tooth brush

@@thegoodlife2937 well theres never been any visible signs of damage so he is immune it might not be genetic though poisin ivy is an alergic reaction it induces a immune response its just that most people are alergic to it what im getting at is he might have been exposed as a child so his body just ignores it now i havent had an ivy rash so if its genetic i could have it but i also dont grope poisin for fun and im alergic to other crap so my chances arent good

I'm concerned the survivalist didn't learn all of the poisonous/asshole plants in the area before brushing his teeth with poison oak. Poison ivy gets the plaque off my teeth so much better
