Love Lily Silk. For those ladies who think these are out of their budget, if you could only get one piece each season, in a few years you will have a beautiful complete wardrobe. This quality will last for years and classics never go out of style.

I have decided that is what I need to do from now on. Invest in classic, quality pieces that I can wear over and over. The same thing with jewelry and accessories.
Also,today I purchased a washable silk blouse from Quince. Their prices are quite reasonable, and I have been quite pleased with the sweaters I have purchased from them in the past. This might be an alternative.

Beautiful, classic clothes! A suggestion for future video series: address parts of the body e.g. large or thin arms, round tummy, large or small breasts, thick or thin legs, large/small breasts, large or no bottom....and the list goes on!
It would be nice to have some more affordable options that we can click on to purchase. I know I would be more encouraged to make purchases.

Crepe de Chine is pronounced crep (not crape) de sheen. I think another key to great outfits is wearing quality natural fibers, they not only look so much better, they’re breathable and comfortable. I love silk and it’s a great fiber for travel, too.
I love a silk blouse… always so classy. Thank you for showing us the black and white stripe. That one with the black slacks looked especially sharp. If I were to buy one, it would be the ecru. That one would be in my closet forever! So many and they are beautiful.

I would love to have some Lily Silk blouses, but I don’t think they carry petite sizes. I have gone to their site and their directory lists petites, but they show no product. Blouse order asks you to choose a size, but there are no petite sizes offered. I tried an online chat, but it is not an actual person and they only address questions about problems with orders. Perhaps you know if they offer petites?
I saw that for $30, you could get a custom order. Which would probably mean giving your measurements and it would be custom made to fit those measurements...that would be a win in my books.
@@Charlotte-dk5pz I saw that as well, but there are too many other fashion designers of silk shirts that offer inclusive sizing. It shouldn’t cost an extra $30 for popular sizing that uses less fabric. Otherwise, they look very nice and I would give them a try.

As always, I love your video! However, I am not slender enough to wear stripes, in fact, I do not enjoy wearing stripes at all. You, however, look scrumptious!!! And no, I could never get used to the wider pants and then still wear them slightly short of my feet - just a personal style choice. I prefer a straight-legged dark wash denim or smart pants, preferably navy or black. In our hot, sticky summers, I mostly wear fit and flare floral dresses, as they are the coolest option, and easy care, too (I have to wash garments every day after wearing them - sticky heat makes everything icky!!! 🙂 Now as we finally have autumn down here, I am considering making a couple of flared skirts to wear with my sweaters, as I have seriously fallen back in love with skirts and dresses!!! Our winter, for the most part during the day, are mild and dry, so a skirt is a good option..... But it is always lovely to see you and I enjoy your chats, Kay - my late husband and I used to visit Ohio frequently during the 80's and 90's,when I accompanied him on business trips to Mansfield, and then to Akron in the later years. Your demeanor reminds me of the wonderful friends we had made in those long ago years!

I am on the hunt for a silk blouse, as the ones I’ve had for years are now showing their age! But is it just me, or are other ladies finding that, although silk is a natural fabric, it does not “breathe” as well as might be expected? I had a blouse that was ruined by perspiration stains under the arms. These days, I pin washable (hand sewn) perspiration guards into my good sweaters, and will do this also with a silk shirt.
Im super casual, retired and pretty much a homebody. I never know what to put on everyday. I feel so dumpy, old and ugly. In a rut. What do ladies wear when just at home?

Hmm, so to get a petite size I’d have to pay $30 extra and probably unreturnable. So tired of being gouged.
The silk blouses are beautiful and you look lovely in them but hand washing and dry cleaning don’t fit my lifestyle anymore!
You know that most of your outfits are so pricey that the common woman cannot afford the clothes show. they’re quite beautiful, but quite pricey
Maybe you can take the ideas and work with more affordable shirts. I’m not very good with styling but copying the looks with less expensive items is worth a try.
The 169.00 price point for a silk blouse is reasonable and with the 20% off makes it even more affordable. of course you can always try these ideas with polyester or cotton blouses.
I was so happy to get a striped linen shirt on a "half price on everything" Old Navy sale recently! I paid under $25 and it's perfect! I also love Old Navy jeans, which are well under $50. I shop end of season sales at department stores (Target, Walmart), and I also thrift shop all the time. I've gotten Ralph Lauren overcoats, trench coats, and shirts, for $12-15 each!

Haven’t been following since Dec had to navigate three stressful months of my dad’s care from Florida while I’m in Md. He passed sadly in Feb and I am at Peach that he had a nice Military Service.
