Captain Ahmed....thanks a lot from Spain...you´ve been a great support for me to repare my saab TDI 02 93´s EGR...I didn´t know how to clean it....thank you very much friend !!!
BT RIO, Yes it is OBD II and the connector is next to your knee under the dash near central console, when sitting in driver's seat. in UK cars its your left knee and i guess its right knee for rest of the world. Just freed both rear jammed caliper and replaced the brake pads but had no one to film me. Will try posting some videos. Thanks.
Hi allangreen81, the two black rubber hoses attached to EGR valve are coolant pipes. They are pressure and heat resistant and size is 5 to 7mm inner and 10 mm outer diameter. You can buy it from any car part supplier like watts, GSF, unipart, etc or your local shop. or if you are talking about the thinner rubber hose, that is connected to the small throtle attached to the EGR manifold, this could be bought from same places or best is to go to a scrapyard for this one. hope this help, regards
Allan, I think you need to put a Turbo cleaner in your diesel tank, FORTE Diesel treatment or Turbo cleaner I would suggest, and give your car a good run on motorway for half an hour or so with high RPMS. It will clear her up hopefully. Make sure your timing belt is in good state before you try this. Keep me posted.
hi thanks for the fast reply, I removed the egr valve today and gave it a good clean and it seems to be running fine with no loss of power, I've not tried to replace the hose yet. the only problem I'm having now is black smoke every time I accelerate, do you have any idea what could be causing this?
Hi, I have a quick question please. Do you know how I go about changing the gear selector arms on this model please? They have those retention pins in them. What would be the best procedure to remove them. Thanks
Подскажите можит ли работать автомобиль без дроссельной заслонки, в модели Мерседес Е220 cdi, w211, 150 kw. 2004 года. На двух сервисах не могли найти?
Its an absolute waste of time commenting on your videos, if you cannot bother replying to messages then no point uploading videos on here. Better take them off mate..
thanks for getting back to me. the smoke seems to have gone on its own. it's now running fine thanks to your video I saved around £200. thanks!

Hi, thanks for the video. Can I please ask, is the connector OBDII on these cars? Also could you please upload more videos on this car.
PRO TIP: use dedicated cleaning solution for EGR's, it's only 5-10€ (depending where you live)
great video I'm going to try and remove mine myself, could you please tell me the name of the hose attached as mine needs replacing? thanks
