I can, they have no education on the subject also tone deaf. I have gotten it time and time again , ask the quest WHY? lame dumb anwser ... because it is , lol . Simply they are just musically braindead morons with about as much talent as their no good ass
This not from this planet friends...enjoy the truly, and I mean TRULY supernatural music here. It's way out in the freak zone. Period. There will surely never be another Brecker - but let's all hope please. Greatest saxophone player in the history of the instrument. This performance confirms it.
Jeff is killing it . Heard this tour in 6-7 cities that year. LA at the Palace if anyone has it would be remarkable. Even for these guys it was a great night. Spectacular!
Remarkable in texture and layers of sound, so beautiful, yet challenging and liable to repel some delicate lover of the straight song. Having heard this, the artists, many times, well separated, I feel enlightened, enhanced.
Thanks so much for uploading this. This was the clip that really inspired me to start learning Jazz years ago. I had it on VHS tape, but lost it a while ago. It still sends shivers down my spine. Much appreciated !!
Never thought I'd hear a version of this that would compare with the Coltrane/Hartman rendition from the early '60s, but Brecker and Metheny really bring this home.
Erm... how can I put this gently..? DID YOU SEE THAT BIT AT THE START WHERE IT SAID MIKE STERN!? DID THAT SOUND LIKE PAT METHENY TO YOU!? I think I made my point.
The saxophone was just an extension of Michael Brecker's body, that he played with a lot of soul ...
I cant believe there are people who would dislike this video.
403...
@Diego Gonzalez they just listen to the music and are too paralised by mike's playing
