This is by far my favorite game of all time. I still remember taking 40 minutes to complete the whole game as a teen and you did it in less than 7 minutes!! Love it! Just subscribed..

I like how you got us all pessimistic that it couldn't be the WR and then realized that you'd started your timer half a second early. It was like a delayed blast WR excitement.
One of my favorites as well. The speed run is full of glitches, and it’s pretty cool. But I still enjoy playing it casually without the glitches. Just a great game.
@slackanater6639 Yeah, I try to play through it once a year, given I have time. It is truly an underappreciated game. As well as being ahead of its time looking back at it. Not sure if you've ever played the PS2 version of the game. But that was really good as well.

I didn't know half of these glitches. I used to think that taping down the turbo button on the NES advantage was the only glitch lol. I kept wondering how in the hell you was going to skip getting the horn and going up to the floating castle. This was crazy cool.

Aa kid I used to have to leave my NES on for days to finish this game. Its crazy what we can do now that we know so much about these games. This playthrough uses glitches but I do have a full no glitch playthrough that also has no damage taken ua-cam.com/video/LFTfyrqMba8/v-deo.html
You just beat one of my childhood games I couldn't beat AND did it in less time it takes me to enjoy my morning dump....and in far less time than to make Pop Art in a Walmart restroom. Pop? ...well you know what I meant 🤣 GG

Spent hours and hours playing this game as a kid. Super weird game. Never beat it.
Same back in the 90's never beat it but got very close. Problem is that i didnt know english because we studied german at my school here in Italy.

I remember beating this sans guides & etc back in the 80's when it was new. I never beat the arcade version though, you?
No never beat the arcade. But this is as a game I beat as a kid but it took hours/days of leaving the console on😆
