AMAZING!! I've been waiting so long for something like this to come along. Arabic music remixes are so hard when you have no instrumental or vocal tracks and also hope to be able to fix old recorded tracks that have lots of distortion from being too loud with this.
I am still hearing the hum in sample C. Could you have used the magic wand tool to select the lowest frequency hum, then use the harmonic selection tool, (or click on the selection after you select it) to get the other harmonics?
Currently RX for music does not have several of these plugins shown there, such as Ambient match or Dialogue isolate, for example. In addition to many others that are in this version of the video. What a shame. I suggest you create a monthly or yearly subscription plan also for the Advanced version, as it is very expensive especially in my country. Thanks
How do you bring up soft vocalists in a track with multiple speakers (i.e. ZOOM Meeting) and there's one who sounds softer than the rest ? Is there a way to boost her voice and or bring down the volume of everyone else ? Thanks so much !
Hi! If Geoff Manchester (or anyone else who can help) is out there, maybe he can answer this question . . . Is there a way to make my Mac mouse scroll horizontally in RX7 Connect? Going from a horizontal scroll in ProTools to a vertical scroll in RX7 is really a pain. There’s gotta be a setting I can adjust, but I can’t find it. Thanks!
Hey! I swear I saw a video once of someone using RX7 to take a recording of a tri-chord, and alter it from MAJOR to MINOR, by altering the pitch of the 3rd somehow without drastically affecting the other notes. IS THIS POSSIBLE???
Hi Izotope i just got rx7 and i am astounded by it .It is most definitely the photoshop for music .I was just wondering though is there a way to pause playback instead of hitting stop and it returning back to it last position ?Thanks !
Yes. You can use RX’s modules as plugins within your session in Logic or use the standalone editor and then export the repaired audio for further mixing in Logic. You can use Nectar 3 in Logic at a track level and Melodyne 5 essential too.
How do I extend the file length in rx7. The original audio file is 3:19 min but gets cut off at 2:02 when I export into rx7. Anyone have answer? How can I adjust this back to its full length?
Hello I am a new comer to izotope so forgive me if this question or scenario has been answered. I have tons of vinyl albums. My goal is to record the album removing clicks, pops and backgrounds noise to produce a crystal clear project. My question is how can i do that with RX7?
Hey there. Modules in RX7 like De-click, De-crackle and Spectral De-noise would be very useful for your vinyl restoration work. Also, try running your tracks through a pass with Repair Assistant using the ‘Music’ option. To learn more about repairing your audio check out other videos on this page and head to our learn section: www.izotope.com/en/learn-search.html?q=audio-repair

Hi, in the lower rigth corner there is a history section. There you can return to the original state of the audio or return to past process you have made. :)
Great video! I would really like to purchase the RX7 but I use GarageBand on my Mac mini. Is this compatible? Can I bring RX7 into my GarageBand program or do I record my voice over in GarageBand, save it then open it up in RX7 to take out the mouth clicks and plosives? Also do I need to buy the $399 RX7 Standard or can I just buy the $129 RX Elements? Major mouth-clicks in my VOs and plosives are my main problems to deal with. Thanks!
Hi Frank, thanks for reaching out! Garage Band is not a tested or supported host for iZotope products at this time. You can record your audio in Garage Band then export it to the RX application for editing and cleaning then always bring it back into Garage Band. If you need to clean up a whole range of clicks, then RX 7 Elements is all you need. If you need to specifically remove various mouth noises, Mouth De-Click is offered in the Standard and Advanced versions of RX. De-plosive is also in the Standard and Advanced versions. For the last few years, we have historically run an RX sale in April. I apologize that we can't give out pricing details ahead of time, but It may be worth waiting since it's right around the corner.
Right, but think about it in a broader context. We're trying to remove these artifacts in the first place because they're distracting and affecting the overall sound quality. When we remove it, EQ and do whatever else we're going to do as we mix down the project, it isn't going to be noticeable. If you're looking at it as a tool to fix careless tracking errors, you're not going to be able to appreciate what it can do for your mixes.
Its a part where the reverb from the cello overlaps into the other microphones.. Listen to the dynamics.. If I was U I'd replay that 100x until U hear it.. Its good training for the ears.. Hope U figure it out.. #MusicIsLife
Would be better to hear the effects in the context of a full mix. Some of the results sound too obvious alone, but are probably ok in a mix. Always check in the context of a full mix.
While I agree with you, I don't at the same time. Lol! Only because despite checking things in context (full mix) cleaning up these problems can make room in that sonic space for other things. My number 1 rule in the studio is "If it helps even a LITTLE BIT, do it."
Like the hum that was on the second guitar example. Those frequencies in that hum will interfere with your bassline. Even if you won't necessarily hear the hum in the context, that frequency is going to push the bass too much. So removing that hum will keep the bass line more solid and defined. These little nuances in a mix matter a lot despite our ears deceiving us into thinking it's okay when playing in context. Listening to those records on different devices translate differently. That song played in a club would be TERRIBLE with that hum in there.
If I understand this comment correctly, your concern is that all the processing isn't exactly as transparent as the guys acting like it is and you're not sure what would be buried in a real mix and what wouldn't be. For me that was most glaring on debleed. I can confirm that when it comes to getting the headphone bleed out of a rap vocal, pretty much the exact settings he mentioned work more than adequately in context
Same fault as most others make. Far to much volume on the music compared to the speech making one wonder if the music or the speech is the important part. Actually it shouts that the music is very important and the speech just filling in the gaps.
When you're done, you usually would go to File > Export and then choose your export settings. Or if you are using RX Connect in Nuendo or Pro Tools, then you would send the audio back into your DAW and then render your changes in the DAW. If you have any questions about exporting or saving material from RX, send us a message at support@izotope.com and we'd be happy to help!
@@iZotopeOfficial Will do, thank you very much! The rendering process could be a little more thoroughly documented and defined. I'll send an email, thanks!
Why are you removing the string squeaks from the guitar strings? That is one of the many nuances that separates human music from a MIDI soulless robotic interpretation
the genius who came up with the initial Assistant on Ozone 8 which subsequently led to the other Assistants needs an improved contract!
Would you happen to be that genius? lol!
Fantastic! RX 7 is incredible!
GENIUS!!!!!! Than y'all for helping me save so many of my tracks from click bleed and fan noise from my MacBook pro! 🙏🏻
I feel like just the de-esser will save months of my life 😁
I wish there was a portable version of this program. It is so cool!
cant you put it on a hard drive?
It works sometimes but if you try to remove the vocals you have tone probs along with volume drops and some real funny aritfacts in you audio.

Is there a way to disable the automatic region markers? Everytime I cut some random frequency it keeps playing in loop
