I agree with Adam. I think that the overarching plot situation is Jen coming to terms with her Hulkness. She doesn't have a situation where Jen and She-Hulk have two different personalities like her cousin. When people love She-Hulk and not Jen (and vise versa), Jen knows about it and feels the feels. I think eventually she will come to grips with it and become one with her Hulkness and I think her encounter with Daredevil, however long or short it may be, will be the catalyst for that. We'll See. It ain't over. P.S. Love the channel.

In the comics, Titania thinks she's She-Hulks Arch enemy. Jen thinks Titania is this annying chick who shows up every so often to pick a fight with her. As far as Jen is concerned she doesn't have an arch enemy, she thinks the concept is dumb. I'm glad they've kept up that dynamic.
People haven't learned from WandaVision - like if you're watching just so you can catch a glimpse of someone who isn't the main character in the show, then there are good odds that you will be disappointed.
The best thing to do is wait and see - because with the reveal in the last episode, you KNOW he is coming sometime, so all this hullabaloo is just baffling to me.
But, anyhoo, I'm just coming out of lurking to say that you guys are my favourite reactors of all the channels on here. Thank you for doing what you do - you are wholesome, funny and are here to just have fun - and to me, that's what this experience should be about.

@@danjquiroz If they wanted people NOT talking about Daredevil then they shouldn't have shown him on the SDCC trailer and in the recent trailer for the second half of the series. If they kept that under the wraps, last week's reveal would have LITERALLY broken the Internet. Like it happened on Wandavision when Evan Peters showed up (even though in the end, we got BOHNERed).
They gave Daredevil the spotlight because they knew that would bring attention to a show that, otherwise most people would skip.
Agree. But they should have never shown Daredevil. Took the focus away from She Hulk & ruined what would've been a great reveal.
Seriously, the show is She-Hulk, not Daredevil like she said in episode 1. I LOVE that they trolled the haters with that 4th wall break. It made me love an hilarious show even more!

Patti Harrison (Lulu / the bride) is a freaking gem of an actor. She plays the nightmare bride perfectly.
There may not have been an after credits scene, but the credits did have a great drawing of Titania getting her teeth fixed.
I didn't think I could love Tatiana Maslany anymore...then the dance/drinking montage starts and I discover how very wrong I was. Then she tops herself with another intoxicated conversation and when she asks him to listen by pointing at her ear then the ear faces him while she's talking. It was so freaking adorable.
The plot is going on in the background. Third date guy who just happened to show up at her job? Rival lawyer who doesn't want to tell her about the loon squad? Bits and pieces.
Forget Jen breaking the 4th wall. The show itself does it best ❤

The Mr. Immortal B story is one of the funniest things I have ever seen in all of the MCU. I had to pause the episode after he jumped out of the building and just strolled away because I was crying laughing😂😂😂.
Also I was really REALLY happy when Jen wrecked Titania’s smug ass face, and then I kinda felt pity for Titania, but then again that is Karma. Also Jen in both her human and She-Hulk form looks GORGEOUS in that blue dress!

The She-Hulk writers room clearly has at least one precog.
I think the wedding couple was manipulated into having the wedding there. The group spying on Jen had their hidden camera set up, the invitation box looked like it was Titania's color scheme. Could be wrong..I might be doing a Mephisto on myself.😆
I know what you mean. I feel I've been Mephisto’ing Andor a little. I think we have been taught to overanalyze these shows instead of just enjoying them.
I'm so glad to see the Great Lakes Avengers getting some love in the MCU too. Mr. Immortal is hilarious.
I actually LOVE how they did it! Obviously people are upset, but for me, it made it better! The show ACKNOWLEDGED the trope of the wedding filler episode coming in at the worst times and that is hilarious to me. That made the whole experience so much better for me honestly
What a fun episode and people are definitely upset daredevil didn’t show up. I am fortunately not one of those people. Having so much fun with this show

The way I see the Marvel Disney plus shows is that they are showing us tiny little pieces of the mcu.
They don't have to over lap.
I am perfectly happy to see them as what they are.

Titania is the warm up villain to help Jen find herself and become comfortable with being SheHulk enough to be ready for the actual villain.

Titania’s core character thing in the comics is that she was always small and meek before gaining super powers. Being big, strong, and tough made her finally feel confidant.
Assuming it is the same here, along comes Jen who doesn’t even want powers and yet is bigger, stronger, tougher, and keeps getting the better of her.
In addition, the show has set up:
• Hulk’s next movie.
• Introduced Mephisto’s realm.
• Introduced the Wrecking Crew.
• Introduced the Intelligencia which will include MODOK and the Leader.
• Introduced Luke Jacobson, costume maker for Supers.
I think Todd is Thunderball from the Wrecking Crew - the one with a mask with the needle.
I also think this show will indicate that Matt Murdock has moved to Los Angeles after losing the right to practice in New York.
They literally made the trolls the villains. I *LOVE* the level of baiting they're doing here.

And people are definitely going to complain and down review this show when they literally demonize the majority of their fanbase. I agree with Adam saying that the overall narrative of the show is about Jen’s acceptance of herself. It’s almost like an adult coming of age story and I really love it.
Jay ... it's an EPISODIC show. They may tie it in today later like WANDAVISION or WHAT IF but each episode stands on its own. Also, put ketchup on the side and dip fries in it to keep your hands clean. It's easier than using chopsticks.
My theory of over-arching plot: The search for the gamma-blood by the people who will eventually try and create Red Hulk for the Thunderbolts show.
At least a few years ago the "cash bar" thing came back because in some states the wedding party can be sued (along with the venue) if a guest is overserved alcohol and then goes out and causes injury.
This show is more like the Netflix Daredevil and Jessica Jones shows where they are pretty self contained while still inhabiting the Marvel Universe. Daredevil basically took place in a single neighborhood of NY for most of its run. She Hulk does bring in Bruce/Hulk only because it would be insane to have a show about She-Hulk without Hulk at least getting a drive-by.
Dustin and Steve is one of the best character associations that you have done! Jay as Dustin in particular is 100% a perfect match
Wrap your noodles around this: last episode, most people felt bad that the dudes were interested more in She-Hulk than Jen… just like how they made us feel about this episode… we want more She Hulk and action and smashing but we got… “Just Jen”… congrats, we are those dudes now 😂💚

The thing I want to know about the picture of Pug with his Iron Man 3's and a bunch of shoes behind him... was that a shoe store, or did he manage to talk Nicki into coming back to his place to see his shoe collection? LOL
We know that "Todd" is likely part of the Wrecking Crew and the guy at the wedding feels like another plant. What would really amuse me though is if Ched turns out to be one of the masterminds of the Intelligencia. Bruce and Jen DID comment that he's supposed to be brilliant and it would be a nice twist if they weren't just being sarcastic.

The reactions I watched of this episode, everyone always gets who Immortal is as the assistant to the mayor in the Book of Boba Fett, but when I saw him in my watch, I was like "Is that Bill Nye the Science Guy?"
I tell you what we are doing here, Jay. We are getting entertained! She-Hulk is a comedy show. Most comedy shows don't have an overarching plot. They are indeed just funny slices of life, 30 minutes at a time. I'm glad that the plot with getting her blood/killing her is waaaaaay in the background, because if it weren't it would detract from the comedy show aspect of She-Hulk.
8:41 I knew I recognized him. He was the psychiatrist from Groundhog Day. That was almost 30 years ago though.
So, who's worse? Titania or Lulu? Personally, even with the suckerpunching of a powered-down Jen, I think Lulu might be a little bit worse. Maybe just because I think there's still room for a reluctant She-Hulk/Titania team-up at some point in the future.
Edit: Actually, I'll elaborate a little. I think a lot of Titania's nastiness comes from jealousy and trying to protect her brand as a minor celebrity with superstrength. It comes across as being more targeted, while Lulu gives the impression that she is like that all the time toward EVERYBODY that she feels she has any sort of advantage over. Maybe it's heightened because of the stress of the wedding, but that sort of behavior definitely came from a mindset that's always there.
Honestly, anyone who sends exploding glitter wedding invitations is right up there with Thanos on my list. I would have called the Avengers on her for that alone...

You know when you’re at Disneyland and it’s been a long day and your feet hurt and you’re sweaty and tired and you just need a drink and to rest your feet and we don’t feel like doing any more rides and it’s too crowded and you’re getting cranky and suddenly you come across the People Mover ride and you say to yourself thank you Mr. Disney this is just what I needed. The show is like the people mover ride at Disneyland. It has a tiny bit world building little bit of humor little bit of Ally McTeal and it’s setting her up for her role in the two upcoming avengers movies. So it’s basically a 4 1/2 hour origin story. And I’m OK with that.
No Daredevil, but the Great Lakes Avengers confirmed with the appearance of Mr. Immortal! Huzzah!

I’m so proud, and genuinely surprised, that Adam knew that was Monday Night Football and not ESPN.
The show reminds me a lot of Ally McBeal. Adam is right I think. Its a character driven show about her life. Her dating life/coming to grips with Shulkie is the overarching plot.
I think its improved week on week for the most part. I think we'll see more hulk stuff as we approach climax. I mean we know she got a super suit.
Also, I really hope Josh isn't evil.

Pug is from the books. Nikki reminds me of the Jane Krakowski character from Ally McBeal.

I wasn't expecting a Great Lakes Avenger to appear, like, any time in the MCU, but here we are.
I like that the inconvenient wedding on a Thursday and calling it Just Jen is a good way to mock those waiting on Daredevil like he's the main star. I'm still enjoying this and I still think the main antagonist is going to be Leader, now knowing he is coming back. Curious to see what they are gonna do.

No, that dress was made by Luke. It’s designed to be a tight foxy dress for she-hulk and a flowing gown on Jen.
I’m convinced that Luke might be Edna Mode’s grandson, because he acts like her. I know Edna’s in an animated movie and its sequel, but still, they have a similar personality, and I actually expected Luke to say “No capes!” when he first showed up.
Oh wow, they introduced Mr I from the Great Lakes Avengers. Hawkeye and Bobbi used to run that team after Clint got fired from being leader of the West Coast Avengers of whom She-Hulk was a member. Also not sure if I used that of whom correctly. Wanted to sound cool 😆

I paused on those comments and holy cow, that was DARK. It gave me a bad feeling bc it's exactly what if feels like if you find yourself on the wrong side of the internet (or if you read the comments of any she-hulk videos!)
I wasn't sold on DD showing up, I hoped, but when we didn't see the helmet in the recap I knew he wouldn't show up and I'm ok with that. This show has been very good with predicting viewers behavior, so I imagine they KNOW a lot of people are hyped for him... so I don't think he will show up until at least episode 8 (close enough to the end, but not the last episode so people are not distracted from Jen's story.)

re: Mr. Immortal. When he's trying to ditch a marriage he does a full bore convincing death scam. Jumping out of the office window was him just being chronically conflict avoidant, he wasn't trying to pretend like he'd fired them as his counsel or anything. That was just him getting some air.
Adam's excitement at Mr. Immortal's introduction was great. I thought you were as big a fan of the Great Lakes Avengers as some of us, but just the Boba Fett connection? Eh... :-)

I think episode 7 will finally go where we want the show to go. I mean ep 7 of WandaVision was literally called "Breaking the Fourth Wall" and after that episode it was off to the races from there. I think its the same with She-Hulk too.

I think this is one of those shows where, once the over-arching plot is revealed, you are going to recognize all the hints and breadcrumbs that have been planted throughout the whole series under the radar. I'm actually really enjoying the "casual" nature of this show.
The writers weren't that intelligent when writing this show.

@@jam4nr Because I use my ears and listen to the dialogue. I use my eyes and watch the screen and the plots and narratives play out. This whole show has no idea how real people react. It feels it's written for 40 single mothers who read nothing but romance fiction. I dont know who they hired but this show is a bore connected to any other Marvel property.

@@jam4nr Yes. I gave it chance. I watched 6 episodes and I cant muscle my way through it. The show could've been better and had a lot of potential. Especially I. Comparison to far better written shows such as Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Wanda Vision, and Loki. It feels that zero effort was made for this character and good story telling. And based upon the low ratings reports released in regards to this show I'm not alone in my opinion
Please don't let the one guy who seems to have a functional brain and realizes how amazing Jen is, turn out to be a secret bad guy. I don't think my heart can take it.

It seems that in the last 2 episodes have the after credit scene has been tacked on at the end of the episode. The whole tone is different. (Just a thought 🤔)
Is that needle made from Vibranium? Remember that guy she went on a date, and later we learn he’s a client was asking about that and about weaknesses.
A few things, firstly, I think that this was a dip in stakes before a huge raise in stakes next episode, secondish, something cleverly thrown away in this episode is Mallory trying to drive a wedge between Jen and Nikki. Could she be part of the plot against She Hulk and finally, if the pictures are cannon then I think you need to take a closer look at the pic of PUG and the sneakers to see who all they just cannonized.
Oh no, imagine if they did to the Daredevil episode what “What If” did to the Tony/Sakaar episode! You’d be able to hear all the nerds of the internet shit themselves in unison! 😂
