My 2007 specs UDT trans. fluid from Kubota or the UDTHD (more expensive) I use Chevron 1000THF (basically highly refined/tricked up mineral oil). I use Chevron RPM 10w30-easier starting in COLD waether; plus a kerosene cocktail (a few gallons) in the winter. Great video; thanks!!!
I see this post is older, so you may not even look at it. I have an rtv900, 2006, and the back will not tip unless I am pointed down on a slight hill. Then the hydraulics work. But, if level or pointing up, it will not engage. Any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks
Would like to know how to change the inline filter? Also, what is the orange/red filter right at the back of the vehicle? Does it need to be changed? Thanks for your video - I am a complete novice and was able to change the filters as shown in your video!
Your Kubota dealership will be able to point you to a specific part but there is an engine-kill solenoid that may have gone bad. Diesel engines don't need electricity to continue to run (key off) so they need to be actively starved of air/fuel (this is what the engine kill solenoid does). Good luck with your project!
Take a shop vacuum cleaner and carefully clean the cotton out of the radiator. I use a Kubota for golf course work and the radiator gets plugged up with cotton (from the trees) about twice a year.

No need to over tighten the filters with the wrench, just makes future service harder. Tighten it by hand.

Why you tight to much the transs.. filter ?
You are way over tightening your oil filters. 1\2 turn after seal contact by hand.
That filter said a full turn after contact.

I am not an expert, but I think you may have a bad ignition switch.

Best thing to do is talk to your dealer. We never had any over heating issues with ours. Good luck!
Fix the electric radiator fan, usually the sensor by the thermostat
Clean out your radiator shield and blow the dirt out of the radiator. Also check your coolant level.
