Bike check on my 2010 (I think) Breadwinner Aufderheide, hand built in Portland, Oregon. TIG welded steel frame with S+S couplers. Wisconsin Rustic Roads paint scheme.
Game design is great and all, but I've been hitting refresh waiting for bike things to appear on this channel. Took you long enough. (That mug does in fact give cool guy vibes)
Been a fan of yours for years now and seeing your posts ages ago about building bikes got me into cycling. I'm planning to upgrade my group set soon so thanks for the expensive hobby, Josh.
Very cool bike there, I have like 3 right now, 1 is a dirt jumper, 20" bmx bike, and a bmx cruiser. My family was heavily involved in Cherry Hill bmx and biking in the northwest. My brother was going to be #1 in the nation in the most competitive age range and bike but the #1 guy who he was beating in points (and he was faster) Tboned him out of spite, and my father ownes a bike shop called best bikes and boards as well as co founded cherry hill. Bikes needless to say, a very large part of my life lol. Here's a bike you'll probably of never heard of and probably never see, have you heard of an azusa, there's only I think about 7 of them made at least in the first run and yes my dad does have one
Hey Josh your work in fallout new Vegas left a really big impression on me playing it growing up. I’m not sure if you’re still making game related content, but as for the bike content that’s a really nice looking bike! Makes me wonder what it would be like to have a bike packed out like yours and taking it through the Mojave wasteland. Take care!
I am not a bike person, I never learned how to ride, so I find all the “of course”s really funny. Like Yeah obviously I know you gotta have the down 2 friction shifters, what else would you have (I have no idea what that means)
Awesome build and unexpected but welcome video. Would love to know why you ended up on a Breadwinner cycles frame rather than other options you may have considered
I remember watching your video of Death Loop and you talking about the bike parts and model standing around in the game. This isn't that far off from what I expect ;)
love it, beautiful frame and quality components, love the deore rear mech - wil run forever and with friction shifters it works with any and all casettes - but if i can ask the seat angle has me worried - are you sure its ok? i've seen a lot of tilts over the years forward and back and people seem comfortable but its always something that its compensating for ... some other fit imbalance ... usually back its seat too low but don't take my word for it still its unusual.
It's your channel, you do you, Sir
"I turn it around when I need to get aero, get serious." 😂
That bike looks like something you’d see in a highly aesthetic 35mm photograph with someone with a vintage outfit riding it during the golden hour.
That is how I imagine someone should photograph Josh while he is in his element.
I eagerly await the bike-shop focused game you will inevitably make one day.
Fallout 2 Vegas where Andreas Mahler visits New Vegas on a time travelling bicycle
What a legend I wish I could bike with him thru the Mojave
More bike content man, love it
I’d love to play a videogame involving bicycles by @Joshua Sawyer.
I AM here for bike things; granted I don't remember how to ride a bike, but it's still interesting.
When my two favorite things converge I discover a channel I should've found years ago.
Game design is great and all, but I've been hitting refresh waiting for bike things to appear on this channel. Took you long enough.

the cyclotourist-CRPG overlap just makes sense to me
I’d imagine this kind of setup would be useful if you were a courier, perhaps in some sort of desert-type locale…
The first thing I thought when I saw that mug was "Oof, that thing's gonna catch too much air." Glad you're on top of it, lol.
I love all the bags, it’s got a nice feel to it
I like PoE so much i wached Joshua Sawyer talk about his bike...
This was a pretty cool bike!
Many things I bought let me down but never a bike. Good memories.
I subscribed exclusively for this channel's bike content.

I was honestly so excited to see you talk about bikes. I ride my bike to get around town
I remember watching Path Less Pedaled's review of All City Cosmic Stallion and then stumbling across your comment there.
Love the bicycle content Josh! Keep em coming!
What a beaut! I'll watch some of your other content if you promise some more bike content! lol
Hmmmmm... Nice bike.
Frankly I'm happy to hear you talk about anything because you're a very good talker
This is surprisingly ASMR-y, Josh Sawyer ASMR when?
I came to this channel for bike things. Wasn't disappointed.
Real bike hours.
Im fascinated by your bike journey
I don't think I've seen someone use down tube friction shifters since I was a kid in the 80s. It looks like fun, though.
digging all the yt bike checks cropping up lately. nice bike dude.
Beautiful bike
You know I've followed you for a time, and I've learned a lot about bikes, a topic I actually didn't think I was a bit interested in.
Where’s the power meter and Dura Ace DI2 😂? But honestly, that is an amazing looking bike, you hit the theme of it on all parts!
great setup, agree on no need for indexing!
aero mug. been cycle commuting for ~20 yrs, gonna have to look into this high end gear
That is a very nice looking bike :O
yooo I love this. good upload 😊

Lovely bike! :D
One of these days, I’ll upgrade from my 2014 Public (bike shop was basically giving it away) to a proper ride like this

This is so cool
I don't know anything about bikes, but yours always look so sick they make me want to get into cycling.

I watched it anyway, Josh.
Nice bike man

I know nothing about bikes but that's awesome
Cool Bike :)

The front rando bag is a Swift Peregrine. I think they stopped making it recently :(
Why are you so cool. Sincerely.
MORE BIKE VIDEOS!!!🤘🤘🤘
Super interesting
aha, you're wrong Mr. Sawyer! I only come here for bike stuff.
Damit kann man schön in die Heide fahren.
sick nugget mate
I have a lot of respect for someone who knows what going on with their bike. Mines weak as hell compared to yours
Heyy nice opinel.
Turning that mug around mid ride like hitting the nos
hello joshua!!!!
do you still ride motorcycles josh? would love to see your setup
Tak bike look better then my apartment
believe it!
What was your last trip with this? Do you travel solo + camping? Nice to see such videos too! You should do a camping travel vlog like that
I cannot imagine biking on the west coast, especially not with a load. But then again, I bike during Maine winters so I'd be doomed no matter what.
Yummy bike
But can it do a wheelie?
Show us your little car!!!!
I am not into bicycling but I don't mind listening to people being passionate about things I am not necessary 100% into
Love that Murricans say "After Heide" than "Auf der Heide" 😂😂😂😂

Brooks B17 saddles are supposed to tilt like that
more bike checks
Bike. Wheels. Wait... The WHEELS. PILLARS OF ETERNITY 3 CONFIRMED.
death stranding vibes
I will never understand why a bike isn't just normal bike, smol bike and then race bike O_O. So many (literal) moving parts.
Lol, its look like something straight out Fallout, with all those heavy duty-looking bags.
Aw dude where are the wine bottles? 😁EDIT: I'm a dumbass and I didn't wait to see the whole vid before making a comment.
is this a fallout new vegas reference
And…ah…y’a…so…bye…bye😮
If you are homeless i know a guy named Bubbles that can get you a shopping cart. :)
