    Best video to explain lower back pain ...iam also suffered from lower back pain for many years...the best treatment of lower back pain is only exercises not medications....analgesics and muscle relaxant affects is short term and but exercises affects long term and may life good ...so only do exercise and avoid medicine as possible...because doctors never give information about it ,doing business only...this is my experience.

    My pain is gone. After months of effort. It is extremely important to have an active role in your own health. You have to sense what your body needs. And track thoughts and emotions. It is much more than lower back pain alone. 😊

      @BrandyWiseNL 7 місяців тому

      @@jamyvanderpost9473 Hi Janny, yes absolutely. The emotional pain itself can cause lots of muscle tension which is then compensated by other muscles and throws things of balance. I have found that a stomach massage actually helps with lower back pain. Opposing muscles. Also Psoas release helps, no coffee for a while, loads of stretching and soft massage in general. At some point you will have a good cry and things will be better. 😃

    This video was very helpful, I developed chronic back pain about a year and a few months ago. I have a few bulging discs in my lower back. I wish I would've found this video sooner. I've been applying myself A LOT for the last three months and I'm finally seeing progress in alleviating my low back pain. what i want to say to anyone reading this is suffering from low back pain is that there is light at the end of the tunnel, stay the course and trust the process.

      @@andrewedoho6497 lots of stretches and exercises. Strengthening my glutes and fixing my diet and mindset. Sounds cliche and like none sense but that’s what I thought and now I’m doing better.I’m currently doing the McKenzie protocol every day in the morning as well as training glutes once a week by doing hip thrusts and glute-hamstring developer machine and split squats. I’m only eating anti inflammatory foods. I’m doing a keto diet. And that’s been helping a lot. I also started meditating and journaling to help calm my mind. The mind has a lot to do with the body, try to stress less. Sleep on your back. I like using a heat pad for 30 minutes one night then ice the following night. There’s a video on Athlean X UA-cam channel. Look up “bulging disc Jeff Cavalier Athlean X
      It sounds like BS but trust me it’s not. I was in so much pain at one point that I had to set my alarm for an hour earlier because it took me an hour to get out of bed. I also used to have to sit down on the truck seat and pull myself up with my arms to get into driving position. I couldn’t climb stairs and I couldn’t climb a ladder. I couldn’t lift more than 40 pounds. I’m doing WAY better.

    My treatment as a person who suffered from chronic low back pain for years, which has already been cured, I would add: some massage in the deep muscles of the spine and around (osteopathy), some stretching of muscles attached to that area, some tractions of the low back (standing between two chairs hold your own weight partially, using your hands/arms), constant gentle movement, bending/bowing without fear and after that, when you feel better, start lifting some good weights (squats) to make all than chain of muscles work again properly. Warning: it could take several years but the results worth the effort.

      isn't that the truth? My back problems are so severe that I can barely walk. I can't stand straight because of spinal stenosis. If I stand too long, my legs fall asleep. Last summer I found out that I have scoliosis, spinal stenosis, 3 bulging discs, 2 discs with no cartilage causing a slipped disc. Also degenerative disc disease. All of this has been further exacerbated by tearing the hamstrings in both legs and being in 2 car wrecks being hit by other drivers. I never had health insurance so it wasn't diagnosed until last year. My nerve core is only 4 mm instead of 10.
      Most people (including family members) can't comprehend the constant, excruciating pain.

    I've had back problems for the past 39 years and I've had several operations and procedures over the years (IDET etc.). To cut a very long story short my discs at L4/L5 & L5/S1 eventually collapsed and I required surgery. The surgery itself was successful but I still had severe constant pain that a consultant anaesthetist identified as neuropathic pain (called centralised in the US?). If you've had unremitting pain for many years it may be helpful to check whether you have a neuropathic pain component to your back pain.
    This kind of pain is very hard to deal with and I've found that neither pain killers or repeated physio really help but just knowing what was wrong helped me psychologically.

    I am a 27 year old Programmer who spent 8 hours of day on chair with a bad posture daily until January 2021, my sciatic nerve was compressed so bad that I had to drag my left leg. After physiotherapy of about 10 days, it got a little better, I was able to walk. But it has been 6 months my left leg still feels numb or should I say it is missing that element that is felt in a normal leg. In June, while getting up after taking bath(Indians often take bath sitting down on a small plastic stool), when I got up, the back pain started again, now I have been again submitted in Physiotherapy, and the back pain doesn't seem to go away, although, I have made my exercise regular. I sometimes fear that whether I'll be able to feel that same feeling of having the normal leg or rather a soft back. :(
    This video is very well explained.

My heart aches when I see someone suffering from chronic low back pains that gets to the severity of requiring surgery. It's my prayer that Physiotherapists and other spinal specialists engage in more advertisement to introduce our profession to the general public because some genuinely have no idea of what we can offer them

    PLEASE READ: It's very important to NOTE that for some people , if you have not consulted with a physician, the move in 2:44 can be very hazardous to your spine and make your pain permanently worse !!! DO NOT attempt this type of stretching if you have not had the approval of your HCP. Remember every person is unique.
    As per my dad's spine surgeon, laying prone (on your stomach) will put excess pressure on your spine causing worsening.
    Otherwise, this is an educational video

    I'm looking forward to trying these techniques. I have had severe back pain all of my life. Just last year I finally found out why. I have scoliosis, high-grade spinal stenosis, 3 bulging discs, 2 discs with no cartilage between them causing a slipped disc. And degenerative disc disease. My nerve core is 4 mm, instead of 10 mm. All of this has been further exacerbated by tearing both of my hamstring muscles and not healing properly and being in 2 car wrecks, both times hit by other drivers. I can't walk upright because of the stenosis and have to deal with excruciating pain every minute of the day. And people wonder why I'm so grouchy.
