I'm putting respect on this superhero's name. Wildcat has train Batman, Black Canary and even Superman about boxing. Respect Wildcat. One of the most underrated superheroes in the DC multiverse.
You are gonna break the Internet brauh! Under- rated golden age hero,no powers,no prep -time,no weapons just his hands , just a man not a billiionaire, not from space not a king or a princess. "Justice" is what u just did for such a Boss character ,thank you Ivan. Will somebody get this guy a DCEU movie, please! Make it a dark gritty action crime drama about the boxing world R-rated.
I would love for this guy to be explored more in live action there was an attempt at live action on the tv Arrow but not well done lost potential though I’m hoping on the new Stargirl show
Wildcat is such a badass character. For him to go against Batman and take down solomon grundy. Thats impressive. I wanna see him in as playable character in a video game one day
Awesome! Ted deserve more respect than he already has. He has teached Batman in hand-to-hand combat and even has fought against him on par. Impressive. And I think Catwoman and Bronze Tiger deserve their own "How strong" videos too. Especially Bronze Tiger, who's really underappreciated character, but he has a great fighting skills.
I always thought that having an older wildcat train a younger successor would make for a good movie dude. This character is awesome. Good video. Thanks
Wildcat is my second favourite member of the Justice Society of America after Power Girl and one of my favourite characters of the DC universe. He's both an awesome boxer and cat-themed superhero and this video does a great job covering many of his impressive skills and abilities. Good work Ivan.
Boxing too. A lot of people think "it's just a punches and fisticuffs, nothing more". But actually boxing isn't only about that, it's also about teaching how to dodge, predict the punch, counter the hit and approach the opponent tactically, using his weaknesses against him and lessen your own weaknesses.
Great video sir. Wildcat is one of my favorites. I read his 1st appearance in 1983 & I've been hooked on Wildcat since. I'm a huge JSA fan & the book where Mildcat (Johnny Sorrow's nickname for him) thrashes them is great. He absolutely destroys & disrespects them. I love when he tells Tigress he "tussled" with her Mom back in the day. Clearly inferring that it was between the sheets. Lmao. That's another part of his character I love. That he has an affair with a bunch of different superhero ladies. Yes, as you said Wonder Woman's Mom.
I thought I was well informed on Wildcat. Don't remember any stories about his nine lives...good to know! Arrowverse did him some justice training Black Canary when she started out. Ran a MMA club or something.
It is really hard to see him nowadays in any media orher than comics. Too bad he is stuck with the silver age of characters, i wonder how a modern take on the character will change him (because straight up he would be compared to black panther at least with His looks, and nowadays he can't just be a guy in a cat costume without any gadgets).
YOU ....ARE.....OFF.... DA....... CHAIN.......,(in my IVAN'S cause 4 the pause let it sink in) commentary. you gotta love it, but it's none of my business
I knew about wildcat but i didn't thik that hes such an interesting character. You should do a how strong is Red hood hes my Favorite dc character and I think he is at least as strong as captain america probobly even stronger. PS u deserve to have a lot more subs in my opinion cuz ur content is just interesting and u keep it interesting by how u deliver it 😂 onestly bro ur one of my Favorite UA-camrs love from germany💪🏼
Ted Grant aka Wildcat is King of SPADES 👑♠The Master Card corresponding to THE HERMIT Represents Pluto PLANETS SATURN AND URANUS Happy Birthday 🎂to WILDCAT OF JSA Happy New Year Blessings and HUGS MARANATHA 👑💜🔯
When there's an issue with Batman it should be this guy called in. First time I ever saw him in a comic was a silver age where he was tricked into boxing The Creeper (enhanced). His reincarnation ability should be properly explained-- how and why?-- by DC though. It's just occasionally brought in a panel every few years and other characters shrug.
i remember seeing him in justice league ultimate, where his strength is definitley super and not just strong for a human, he litereally punches through a wall, so they over did it with that, but overall just he's just a tough mf
Ted Grant Wildcat is basically a fusion of Rocky Balboa, Ivan Drago, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Rocky Marciano, Evander Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson on steroids
For a guy his age and with no real superpowers, Wildcat is very strong and in good shape. He stands around 188cm tall and has a sold build. And he was a former heavyweight boxing champion.
Most disrespected hero I've ever seen in comics. Considering he's a founding member and has trained like half the fuckin League AND Society, people treat him like he's this old washed up third rate fighter. Never gets comic or screen time either
@Nnamdi Uyalor,Jr Oh yes for sure, in a Boxing Fight, Wildcat would take it pretty handily. They could even teach other some new tricks along the way 👍
While Wildcat is more experienced via suspended aging and has a nine lives, he still can be damaged as a normal human and KOed. Shang Chi is better fighter, who was able to beat several armed adult men when he was 14 years old.
Shang Chi May be isn't a boxer, but he already has defeated opponents more skilled than Wildcat. I think Shang Chi can beat Wildcat even in a boxing match, but it definitely would be a challenge.
It's my favorite dc character.. I have created this character in a dc game 7 month later but 1 day ago 1 mf steal to me that name and now i can't use anymore.. 😢
Boxing just hands beats all fighting styles lol. Like the character still but hes like the character I dont know if hes kool or dumb in a goofy way like plastic man or squirrel girl.

@@alexferrana3979 that too. Thanks, my dude.
You're welcome!
I love Wildcat. He is the greatest boxer in DC Comics & one of the best fighters. I first read his first appearance in 1983 reprint.
Arro w too
He trained Batman…enough said he’s a grandmaster badass.
Indeed. And fighting against Batman twice pretty evenly is already impressive feat.
I love Wildcat so much, easily one of the most underrated DC characters.
Agree. Same I can say about Bronze Tiger. That guy has defeated Batman in hand-to-hand combat!

He actually has some powers, such as 9 lives, suspended aging and etc, but yeah, agree.
I would love for this guy to be explored more in live action there was an attempt at live action on the tv Arrow but not well done lost potential though I’m hoping on the new Stargirl show
I agree, indeed.
I always thought a Rocky style movie would fit him well too.
@@darthstar7945 agree. And show his origins too
Wild Cat is so underrated. I love his abilities
Agree. He is badass.
I really like this character. He doesn’t need a ton of comics or armors. He’s just a hulking boxer with an awesome outfit.
@@Small_child_punter i agree

He can be playable in some mugen game, but I feel wild cat is underated, he is not even playable in all Lego video game
I want him to be in Injustice 3
^
@@lincolnholocinski-francis9063 we all want that , bro, he will fit in injustice 3

One of the best martial artists in DC, I already know.
Definitely. That guy can challenge Batman in hand-to-hand combat. It's already awesome!
I always thought that having an older wildcat train a younger successor would make for a good movie dude. This character is awesome. Good video. Thanks
Wildcat is "The gold standard👊"
He needs a proper live action adaptation. This character is too cool to go to waste.
I think Christopher Nolan should’ve done another superhero movie with this character
Wildcat is my second favourite member of the Justice Society of America after Power Girl and one of my favourite characters of the DC universe. He's both an awesome boxer and cat-themed superhero and this video does a great job covering many of his impressive skills and abilities.
Good work Ivan.
Wrestling is also pretty good, along with Boxing, it's essentially the perfect all-around combination.
Wrestling is probably the most underrated fighting art of all time lol
Boxing too. A lot of people think "it's just a punches and fisticuffs, nothing more". But actually boxing isn't only about that, it's also about teaching how to dodge, predict the punch, counter the hit and approach the opponent tactically, using his weaknesses against him and lessen your own weaknesses.
Or kickboxing/muay thai and judo/jiu-jitsu. Good combo with a 3 different styles - punches, kicking and grappling.
Good set of martial arts too. 👍
In the UFC most American fighters uses a combination of Boxing and Wrestling
And most fighters who has a background in wrestling becomes champions
As someone who started off boxing then went into Muay Thai & tkd. My boxing lets me keep up with these pros
That's what I'm talking about!
Yeah, boxing is definitely one of the most underappreciated fighting styles ever. I mean, it's a great striking martial art.
Great vid, didnt kno much about him before this
This guy is literally my favorite DC character

Agree.
He died in Grant Morrison's Justice League
My second favorite boxer Superhero ever (the first is Battling Bantam from Marvel).
Dude trained half the JLA including Superman, Batman, Mr Terrific, Black Canary and Catwoman. True OG character!!!!!
Yeah, it shows his high level of combat skills.
Wildcat is one of my all time favorite DC superheroes.
not gonna lie i like wildcat hes like batman but without gadgets
Yeah. Similar.
Great video and scaling of wildcat good video

He actually was in recent comics, but not very much. He deserve more apperarances in comics, and more showings of his hand-to-hand combat skills.
He appeared in CW show Stargirl
Damn!, he's a good fighter.

Preciate it!
Red Hood is strong, but not stronger than Cap, unless he is injected with a Venom Serum (that steroid which is used by Bane).
So many ideas so many interesting characters to make a good movie on but WB are friggin dumb.

His power of 9 lives and etc was a result of bad spell, which was reversed by Zatanna and she was able to make it useful for Wildcat.
@@alexferrana3979 Awesome. Thx!

Wild cat one of my favorite lesser used dc characters

I believe he’s also trained Nightwing and the Robins as well. I think his 9 lives also increase all his physical capabilities and he ages slowly.
WILD CAT AND DR.FATE are my fav characters.
I love the JSA, Gotta go read Allstar comics
Wildcat is a awesome boxing champ
Ted Grant Wildcat is basically a fusion of Rocky Balboa, Ivan Drago, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Rocky Marciano, Evander Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson on steroids
Surprised you didn't mention that he can tag golden age flash and that punch that sent someone down a hallway was basically a light jab
Wildcat went toe to toe…with GRUNDY
And WON!!!
This man truly is the most dangerous hand to hand fighter in DC history
Respect your elders, kids
Appreciate this on Ted grant not a lot about him I love boxing to I study it on my page
