- After telling myself for too long 'he's too young to wild camp', I decided to find out and take my son to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park for a wild camp, and he absolutely loved it! He's already talking about going again so no doubt he'll be popping up again on the channel at some point!
I took my old Coleman Cobra 2 (it's the only 2 person tent I own), 2 sleeping bags, 2 sleeping mats and all the gear needed for 2 people so as you can imagine my pack weight was a little more that usual!
As usual the weather didn't quite play ball but we enjoyed some fun and games while tent bound which helped pass the time.
