@@jesselambros8520for the 42 inch bar. I can't seem to figure out how to install. It would be nice to follow all of the steps for all of tje options. Just got mine yesterday.
Looks cool, but no rubber gasket or other protective layer between the steel mounting bracket and painted roof? I would be concerned about it leaving marks if it were removed in the future…
Easier installation method for the front/rear fairing would be to loosely attach the t-nuts to the faring and slide into the 2040 extrusion, then attach the 2040 to the main sides, saves the hassle of finding the t-nut blindly if it moved. Wouldn't studs (capped with an acorn nut) be a better/cleaner attachment solution for the roof plates? Sealant could be applied to the threads to negate the need for the rubber washer.
Does anybody happen to know what the maximum weight roof weight limit is for a 2020 KL? I’m talking bare bones with the standard cross rails. How much is the roof rated to carry before installing anything
@@jesselambros8520 Is it ready to mount right now for a RTT or is there additional hardware needed? You mention it at the end of the video but i wasn't sure if it was necessary to have the extra hardware or not.
thanks for the video thinking of getting this rack to put a tent on it for my trip to Alaska/Yukon next year
Got one at launch. MFC has the KL platform covered literally top to bottom
Where is the light bar option?? Not seeing that on your website
Is there a how to for the light bar?
What specifically?

@@Coolkraus117 you can follow the same instructions as our dedicated video for the 42” lightbar.

Simple solution. I put a thin layer of Marine Grade silicone. Protects the paint and keeps the water out.

This was the original way, but wanted a cleaner look. Thanks for the insight!

Factory rails are rated for carrying nothing more than 150 pounds
@@jesselambros8520 thank you!
What is the weight capacity for the Utili-Rack?
You can easily mount a roof top tent and have two adults sleep up there no questions asked

@@marko358 any roof top tent can mount right now. If you have a hard shell tent, we have a mount that will allow it
