I tried the same car. It can be perfect as a daily driver. Parking backwards can be a little problem in the begining due to the small rear window, but its only a matter of time to get used to it. My biggest cons against the 8th and 7th generation Civic, is if the road is bad quality or bumpy, the car doesnt handle it very well...specially in the backseat can be quite uncomfy. The 1.4 engine variant in the 7th gen and the 8th gen is kinda weak...specially if you use the AC aswel. The shifter for me with the clutch is an etalon...really smooth, really comfy specially in the 7th gen...altough both 7 and 8th clutch system can be a weakpoint, and also the shifter aswel. The consumption is kinda okey. For me it was around 7-8l/100.
It is very decent :) It depends on the roads and on the owner. This Civic had over 120k kilometres and suspension was like new, no bad noises. I have driven Honda HR-V with 80k kilometres and it was disaster. Every pothole was very noisy from the suspension.
Would you say this car would be a suitable upgrade from a 1.25 Ford fiesta? I’m looking for a bigger and more spacious car but also comfortable and fun to drive too
I think it is enough, but there is no boost kick because lack of the turbo. So, it depends on what are you used to. Engine is strong but acceleration is not wow.

This media display was in the prelift from the begining or you had it installed on your own?
I think it was there by factory.
How is the gear shifting ? Clutch and gearbox ? Is it easy to drive smoothly ?
Yes, much easier to drive smoothly than in Kia Ceed or Fiat Tipo.
how is the noise level? i used to own a 2.2 i-detc. Have forgotten how it was like in terms of cabin noise. :D

@@shax232 For sure yes :)
@@LatecoBraxatoris what sort of urban mpg do you get from the 1.8? Sorry the only mpg figures I can understand are miles per gallon
@@shax232 Honestly, I do not know. I drove the car once and later on it was crashed during car accident. So try to Google some tests and figures.
А как она тебе по динамике разгона?Не слабая? Как тебе ускорение?

Aké to je s odhlučnením kabíny na diaľnici
Za mňa dobré, mierny nadpriemer tejto triedy z tých rokov.
