Ava’s Story is a brand new Not in our community film that shows how a young girl is affected by experiencing domestic abuse.
Ava’s mum was being coercively controlled by Carl; an act of relationship abuse. This has made Ava vulnerable to abuse herself. Did you spot any warning signs?
You can view this film's learning resource here: notinourcommunity.org/real_st...

Perfect video. This video covered everything about abusive relationship, control and how exploitative people track a vulnerable person. "Abuse and exploitation is never a victim's fault. Never.'

Don't wait until your kids are in their teens before giving them more than one stern talk on not behaving like 304's. She should have been old enough to know better than to let a dirty old man - but maybe wasn't raised right. Remember this can be sons too these days, with the child grooming being taught in schools!

I think you have missed the point of the video, children are not to blame for being exploited. Victim blaming is wrong and this video is trying to raise awareness of the fact that exploitation is not a child's fault, and that adult's use various tactics to manipulate children into being exploited. Calling an exploited child a Hoe is abhorrent.

@@siobhanwilliams8450 It isn't victim blaming. It is teaching children to be cautious and as responsible as they can be. I never called a child a hoe. However, if not properly taught then if course some will copy what they see in the media, especially celebs, and act like hoe's thinking it makes them grown up somehow.
Depending on age, a child may not be such a child and could be old enough to be expected to be more sensible, and so can be at fault to some extent. 14/15 year old boys and girls hanging about outside pubs and shops which sell booze asking adult men to buy them alcoholic drinks, at that age they can be said to be at some fault. The age of criminal responsibility is 10 in Britain which shows the law recognises that children too can be said to be at fault.

    These stories very disturbing,
This was absolutely terrible and Very difficult to watch
I Hope that any Woman and any other person’s experiencing any similar situations and violence Survives and Escapes such terrible circumstances.
Men you must keep your cool,
Men you must mind your temper,
Men breathe, relax, and whatever you are upset about... it is simply not that serious,
    Men DONT hurt your Lady,
    Never beat up your Woman,
Never beat up your wife, girlfriend, or any woman, that’s NOT is what being a man is.
Beating up a Woman doesn't make a man tough...
Beating up a Woman doesn't make a man strong...
Beating up a Woman doesn't make a man cool...
Beating up a Woman doesn't make a man a man....
Beating a woman is Not masculine
    Beating Women is NOT sexy
    Beating Women is NOT manly
Using abuse, and force for sexual gratification, intimidation, by harmful behavior for sexual intimacy with someone doesn’t make a man, strong, tough, cool, or, manly.
This behavior displays only the absolute weaknesses of the person committing this sort of violence.
I believe in the Safety and Well-being Women, Children, and Men
WOMEN Have the RIGHT to FEEL SAFE and BE SAFE
This is a reply post regarding a article on Assault Against Woman:
For what is statistically true, or accurate, and even what is not included statistically, and all other crime such as this is what is ( violence against women) Always unacceptable...
Women have the Right to Feel SAFE and be Safe...
No woman..., or person....child...should ever have to experience this kind heinous personal intrusion in their lifetime, this seems to be occurring at least according to news reports more, and all to often.
Actually this activity should be in a stage, or state of Reversal, and NOT Increasing, I am continually upset as well as greatly disturbed in hearing such stories, as I have always have been...
My Heart Always... goes out to any person which have experienced any such similar experience of intrusion, attacks, and, or invasion of their personal well-being... due violence, and or violent behavior,
I will continue Praying for the Safety and Well-Being of Others...
    Keep everyone SAFE
    PLEASE BE SAFE
