This is definitely from Spring or Summer 1985 on Granada/ITV, as I know that was when the Central made series Connie, starring Stephanie Beacham, was shown, and it was not repeated as far as I know. Thank you for the upload-well done!
Obligatory announcer roll call: in chronological order, you hear the voices of Graham James, Jim Pope, Malcolm Brown, Charles Foster, Beverley Ashworth (who, by process of elimination, is the one who appears in-vision) and Colin Weston. In the newsroom, there's Anthony H Wilson (RIP) and Richard Madeley; with "his wife" Judy Finnigan of course popping up later.
This is back when Granada acknowledges North Wales as part of Granadaland back then, even though they don’t now, even though 90% of viewers still watch ITV Granada in North Wales
Thanks! Saves me looking it all up.

Connie was repeated on Thursdays in 1987 after News at 10
1986 was the news clips given that Granada Reports was being broadcast from Liverpool in a purpose built studio
I remember this being in the TV Times magazine at the time in 1985, so that is how I know it was then for sure.

Remember going to Wrexham in 1985 when I was 6 and surprised to see they had Granada TV.
Surely folk in Dolgellau wouldn’t have been able to receive Granada, it’s all the way over on the west coast
lol - the news report with Dolgellau,,, the reporter could have made a better effort to get the pronunciation right
1985,1986,1983,1990,1987, 2001
So what was the programme covered up on the Sunday line-up?
winner takes all - a quiz that should be bought back
