Dear sir, instead of the stock turn signals on my V Strom DL650, 2014, I installed a sequential flow. I installed an automatic relay for the LED lighting instead of the original automatic relay. For the shade, they work a little faster (I honestly don't like it), and the led indicators on the instrument panel are only bright and do not blink. Even when all four indicators are working, the LED indicators do not blink, they just light up. PLEASE help how to make the indicator blink. greeting
Wow that is a HUGE power resistor your splicing in there.... honestly just thinking bad design when I see it. Going to assume you're using it as a shunt to match the bulb resistance which really isn't the way to do this. Better off changing to a modern flashing unit that will operate independently of bulbs resistance. Not to mention I think those look a little goofy, but hey if you're going for the Akira look I guess why not.
You mention the blinkerrate is up because you use LEDs. But the reason the blinkerrate went up is because you didnt use the resistor in the proper way. To lower the blinkerrate to normal set your resistor parrallel in stead of serial. The imaginary resistance should be 6ohm, you now only raised the resistance by setting it serial.. Never the less, seeing the result, it looks really good!Oh btw, wile placing the resistor in parrallel, mind the heat! it will become over 90'C! Use heatsink resistors!
@@lasdkfh0la wrong ....it is the blinker rate. Ever notice if you burn out a signal bulb it lets the driver know because flash rate increases dramatically? It is keyed to resistance I believe ....the element is 12volts but the flasher is another part of the operation
To each his own ...just my own personal opinion 2 cents for whatever that is worth ... these look hokey corndog! Look dangerous even in a crash! WTH??? But I do appreciate the video showing how to get to the turn signals ...now i need to find a better video that shows the electrically ideal way to convert to LED ...I assume/hope it is a simple flasher unit change out to match LED resistance....but again to each his own ....if you love it? Who cares what I or anyone else thinks...right?

Sorry but those indicators are ugly, plus in the UK would be illegal as they are flashing too quick
