11 months later Ted was gone... All of us can learn to respect and appreciate the great musicians sharing their craft while we can. Yes, his music lives on...
One guitar teacher taught me about shaping a pick by running on edge over a carpet. That works for getting a more pointed or more dulled shape according to taste.
hi barbara, thank you so much for uploading this. ted was so great in knowledge and demeanor he is a huge inspiration and his teaching means so much to many of us
I forgot this comment.I chose carefully the words to express my admiration to this wonderful musician, but speaking/understanding English is another thing...anyway I'm proud to have impressed a real Englishman, thank you very much!! :)
even if my english is not so good to fully appreciate the contents I've been impressed once again by his total command of the instrument. He obtains lots of different sounds playing the same guitar mostly by changing the approach. What a wonderful musician! Thanks PS hope you're feeling better
Many thanks for sharing these wonderful insights from such a great talent as Ted Green. How fortunate to have been there at the time, but now we can all share the experience. I've not long heard of Ted, and I'm truly impressed by his total immersion in everything guitar! One in a million, and everyone speaks so well of him. Thanks again.
A genius facing impossible focus .....delivers snatches of conversation ponctuated by sparse fragments of music all over the neck of one guitar catched among his wide collection . ....while a buzzing is humming all along . Better is to take the books !
This is just delightful. I'm so happy the "Ted Heads" are keeping the music and wisdom of this man alive. His books are such a treasure trove.
