I like this episode not because of what they do to Miyo but because we see Miyo finally finding the strength and courage to stand up to her abusers and defy them. Her step sister miscalculates how much Miyo has changed and expects her to cave rather than die, but actually, it gives Miyo a choice. Miyo makes the choice that she wants even though it will result in death.
this feels odd coming from episode 7 first XD i'm glad miyo is ok, but dang it this show is taking our emotions of multiple rollercoaster rides and I DONT LIKE IT. i'm not fully accept everything is ok until the final episode whenever that is, cause this anime is MESSING WITH US SHEESH. very happy miyo has started to truly blossom, to heck with her pos family... i like koji too cause he tried.
When you are next looking for an anime to react to; if you have not watched it, my recommendation is Bloom into You. I can't think of any film, show or anime that approaches love / romance from the same angle as this yuri romantic anime does. I think you may like it. if you do decide to watch it then think of the main character as possibly demiromantic and look out for post credit scenes.

A really heart breaking episode, but in the end all worked out and Miyo got saved.
