Chester was not suicidal when these songs were made. He killed himself on his best friends birthday, which his best friend died not long before Chester killed himself. Chester became depressed after his friends death

Looking at his bio he had a rough life. He dealt with sexual abuse from family as a kid and addiction to heroine later on. This man went through so much and these songs speak this.

Maya c That doesn't mean that is the reason he killed himself, it's called Depression... A battle you fight for years and years and days and it never ends and you go to sleep you wake up its still there a pain that doesn't go away, no matter who you hold around you.
It's fucked.. I'm a survivor and I'm still struggling with my days and I've got a baby on the way and my partner.. it's a battle in our minds.

Also this is my favourite LP song. I love that song. Doesn't matter from where you heard it people, what's important is that you're listening to an amazing song. And Chester is looking down on us proud that we're keeping his legacy alive.
As I got the phone call my Mother had died - this song was playing on the radio. Gave me instant chills, as if she was saying something to me as she was moving forward in death...
