I love how bright your sky turned out. I am wondering how you paint over the blue with yellow and not have it turn green? Is the blue dry?
Thanks for the comment. Probably it is possible on the dry paint.
I do not wait until the paint dries. I turn from yellow to blue through pink. It is possible through the red.
This is truly excellent. Work ,I hope I can do the same .How do you put such then ropes on the yacht .?when I try to do this I get too much brush surface on the canvas and then they look very thick .Frank
Practice on a reusable canvas. I would assume it's a matter of being as light with the strokes as possible. It's easy to play the piano loudly; it takes practice to play it quietly.

I'm just starting in painting, but acrylic. I've never seen a sky painted like this in acrylics. Is it possible to do a sky like this in acrylics? Or is this unique to oils due to the blending properties?.

How long did it take to do the painting, it looks like there were many times you stopped to let the paint dry, some was wet on wet
Yes you are right. Some layers are laid dry. Some on wet.

From this novice observation it appears you do something and later change it. Is this correct or is it all planned out?
This happens while we are discovering where we want to go with the piece.
