Very interesting technique you have here. Makes me wonder how people over the years have painted. Im not a painter really, at least not yet I hope. But defintely came from angels I did not except. Like spilling paint and making art from chaos.

I think your waves look great and I like the fact that you stayed away from the barreling wave to show not every wave is a crashing tunnel. I also liked the fact that you showed the whole process almost like I felt my self correcting it with you and catching the flaws. Overall the look a totally dig. To me they don't look like mountain ranges. I get the feeling I'm in the middle of the sea and a storm is overtaking the sea. I love it.

you know how many times i did my water like that and kept painting over it because it didnt look right to me but im a newbe yours looks very beautiful but i did learn something that i can erase it with my hand and do it again bc the second i would paint the foam and felt one line didnt look right i would just leave it and then it would dry i dont know why i didnt try it your way .. i have to say ive gotten better tho since then its been like 6 months so i will keep trying thanks for sharing .i see the one with the boat thats one i would love to try in my future .your truly an artist!!!

I like the technique but the results look too much like mountain ranges than a seascape, too much use of white. Also, you don't have defined eyes which might be another reason why this doesn't feel like a seascape to me.
You do realize that not every seascape needs to be a painting of a wave crashing onto a beach and/or rocks, right? Looks nothing like a mountain range.....looks like rough seas out in the open ocean to me.
+Dana Rouleau it has nothing to do with waves on a beach. It has to do with what is the main subject. Some highlights within the waves are necessary unless you want to make the waves more background material or an abstraction.
sarah thies Why would I do that when there's plenty of other ppl doing it? But if artist can't take any constructive criticism then why make a video?
You obviously are very thin skinned if you think I criticized it all. But you are entitled to you opinion.
