Second this. It's mentioned almost in passing, so not too surprised he forgot about her. Reference Way of Kings chapter 22, Navani mentioned Aesudan (Elhokar's wife) when saying where she came from the capital.
When I first realized that the prologue of this book was happening concurrently with the prologue of the first book my mind was blown. Such a clever way of adding both questions and answers to our understanding of events.
Get ready for a wild ride. Definitely many clues have already been seeded. I can’t wait to watch your reaction to when you realize when and where things were hinted.
I absolutely adore this series! I am truly sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to arrive. I’ve already read all the chapters he has currently released of the new book. Aghhh!! I’m sooo psyched!
I just started WoR as well! My jaw dropped at the first line thinking Jasnah was the one who had Gavilar killed haha. I appreciate hearing your thoughts cause I’m not one to make many predictions while I’m reading. Excited to go on this journey with you!
@@conorreads I really loved it! I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s a slow start, but it kept me interested the whole time. Dalinar giving up his shardblade was my favorite part for sure, made me shed a tear 🥲 he’s probably my favorite character so far. I’m excited to get Shallan’s backstory and I also need to know what is up with the damn spren lol
You surprised me. It's not pretentious or arrogant as I thought it might be, it's actually, you're actually delightful. You don't take you're predictions too seriously but at the same time it is clear you, thus far are intrigued by the story and are excited about what comes next and how it all fits together. I have read the first 4 books several times and Words of Radiance is my favorite. You are in for some treats and surprises, just like the rest of us, enjoy. You earned another subscriber.💯
@@loverofdragons6644 I highly recommend looking over his previous videos. So far he’s covered Mistborn Era 1, Warbreaker and The Way of Kings. It’s been really fun following his journey and hearing his thoughts and ideas, especially when he’s able to pick up on key details most people miss because he’s trying to actively think about the future when reading. It’s a very different style compared to most channels that are just giving their reviews and impressions, and it fits perfectly with the Cosmere due to all the interconnected lore.
great video as always! 1. so yes we know Elhokar has a wife. She is in the capital city and managing the country while the others are on the plain to fight. They also have a son. But Elhokar was really unimportant in book 1 to not take stagetime away from other people. 2. each herald running each order is a nice prediction. Also with the radiants giving up their blades because of the 9 heralds leaving taln behind. read and find out. 3. I really like somebody traing to puzzle this stuff together on his own. Reminds me a lot of how I felt reading these. Enjoy reading!
Damn just started reading it a few days ago and saw your video in recommended. Its the 3rd time we began a book at the same time. Universe is playing a trick on me
Elhokar's wife is mentioned in Way of Kings, she stayed behind in the capital to manage affairs while the army was away fighting.

@@nelkabosalgotcha, thanks guys
I'm impressed. One of those threads that you grabbed was 2 full books ahead of me. I can't elaborate, but bravo.
WoR is most people's favourite book of the series. It's fabulous.
i cant wait to get more of Jasnah this book!! i cant wait!

My promise to you is that you will find the primary purpose of the spren by the end of this book. It’s foreshadowed, but man is it hard to figure out.
Here we go! Book twooooo
I think you're going to enjoy this book a great deal.
So if your theory that every book starts with the night of Gavilar's death is true, which characters do you think will be the other POVs?
I can tell you which ones I’d be excited to see: Sadeas, the Azish man, Gavilar & a parshendi.

Another great book to look forward too.
Gosh, I wish I could read this book for the first time again.
Hope to see some hefty chunks of review but I appreciate the stop to focus an episode on the prologue.
