      This is funny as danes that love coffe don't like latte and wouldn't touch it for all the money in the world, they find it insanely sweet my family likes to drink about 2-3 liters of dark coffe with nothing added to it. My nan was the same. She would have a gammel dansk with it around 7 in the morning for 50+ years.. 😊. But coffee tends to be dark with nothing in it here.

    • @saber1able
      @saber1able 10 місяців тому +2

      @@ebbhead20 Apparently Danes are adding too much sugar, a latte is only as sweet as you make it. I prefer a medium roast coffee myself although a Latte with several shots of Expresso is also pretty good.

    • @ebbhead20
      @ebbhead20 10 місяців тому +2

      @@saber1able no dane likes sweet drinks really. And whe.n it comes to coffe its bitter compared to America and a few other places. The danish coffee is more hardcore US people say. But unless you're one of those weird people that actually goes to Starbucks to get coffe you're not having a sweet version. There might not even be any sugar in at all. The US process they call coffe is so far away from what a lot of EU countries are doing that it's a completely different drink really. Dark and bitter is tye nordic way. But Italy does many versions of coffe anyways, so they have non sugar ones that are bitter in small cups and the stuff Americans go for in bigger cups. But from what i hear ots still not quite like Starbucks. O don't know as i dont drink coffe but everybody elsr seems to and they have the feedback on all that stuff.

    The name comes from a former NHL hockey player (and co-owner) who died in the 1970s. The first Tim Horton's is still in operation on Ottawa Street in Hamilton, Canada. As for the coffee it is not the same as some other competitors. But coffees there are more affordable and Canadians love it. There are Tim Horton's locations in most Canadian cities, in some cases every few city blocks. The best part of Tim Horton's are the doughnuts. Try the Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Apple Fritter, or Chocolate Glazed. You won't be disappointed.

      I have one mug of coffee a day - that's it as far as I go with coffee. but I like it super sweet and almond milk.
      the reason Rana thought his coffee was bitter was because the sugar in the doughnut was greater than the sugar in his coffee. the solution: add more sugar to the coffee! (or drink water/fruit juice)
      reminds me of a time with my mum going to a hospital appointment - she always took some mints with her, but wanted a drink, so we stopped at a shop and she bought orange juice - there's two things you do not mix - mints and orange juice! she complained her orange juice tasted funny, so I had to remind her she'd just eaten a mint! 🤣

    There are 3,579 Tim Hortons stores in Canada as of April 25, 2023. The province with the most number of Tim Hortons locations in Canada is Ontario, with 1,807 stores in the Province where I live. There are 27 Tim Hortons near my house in Niagara, Ontario. You don't have to worry about line-ups....Also, I have been eating these donuts for 60 years and never have I ever seen anyone use a fork and knife on a donut. You just hold it and eat it. Also, the donut they choose the smarty candy one is really only for children. They should have ordered Boston Cream donut for example. Also , Cappucino is a fancy mixed drink and they would have done better to order a large dark roast coffee with cream and sugar. Half of the enjoyment in such places is knowing what to order.

I don't know the cleanliness standards the stores have in eastern Canada but the stores here in BC are mostly disgusting especially in the summer. I understand 1 or 2 flies going around but I stopped getting donuts because every time I'm there for a donut at most locations I see dozens of flies flying around and crawling on donuts. There was an open bathroom area at one place where I saw flies going from the bathroom to the open style donut display. You can also get them covered on the outside. With glazed sugar coating, or Granulated, or powdered sugar. They are also found with Chocolate glaze as well.
    This also has me wondering if they have ever had. One called a Bearclaw. So named because of it's size. They are a Doughnut the size of a bears Paw & claws.

    That was so unusual about the coffee being bitter. Usually when you see a Tim Hortons in the United States, and in Canada, their coffee is so sweet it is almost undrinkable. They use so much syrup and sugars that it is barely coffee any more and just a liquid dessert. They are so sweet you almost choke on all of it. But at least Mr. Rana and Mr. Tahir got to enjoy the donuts!

    The smaller spheres of donuts are called Tidbits....2 bites of them & they're gone into your tummy 😊
    The coffee...... sometimes its a hit or miss on the coffee beans.....have to wonder of the roasting time of the coffee beans was spot on or burnt too much 😂.

    The little piece of plastic on the coffee cup lid usually is made so that if you carefully push it back and down towards the lid far enough, it will stay in a little space there.

    Other suggestions!
    - Takis crisps/chips. A snack food from america. Spicy. Comes in a red flavour and a blue fkavour. Both would be fabulous for your people to try.
    - Chamoy and Tajin are seasonings from Mexico. They can be used in many dishes, one popular way to to apply the tajin powder and then chamoy syrup on top of fruits to eat. This is good on waternelon, mango, pineapple but you could have a big selection of fruits and see what combination everyone prefers?

    Tim Horton is like a religion for a lot of Canadian. I have my coffee there everyday before going to work.

  • @scottbrandon6244

    I think the Tim Horton's food products can vary by country. Donut and other menu items in the UK are slightly different from Canadian locations. I imagine everything would be Halal in Pakistan. In Canada, people order a "double-double". That's double sugar, double cream. There are also Timbits which consists of small donut dough balls coated in icing sugar, coconut or nuts. If you asked a Canadian 20 things that make us Canadian, many people would put Tim Horton's on that list. It's good to see the brand becoming international.
