      @j33ter123Plenty of things aren't natural. A lot of deodorants you find in the story are actually also antiperspirant, and I've had no side effects.

    I use Lume. Great for disabled people. A peasized amount applied every 3 days is AMAZING. My only complaints are that Lume keeps changing their scents (but calling them the same name) and making their bottles smaller.

      I’m not a Dr obviously just a fellow disabled person, but I use Chlorhexidine once a week on any skin folds, and under my arms (must be applied to wet skin, with wet hands and only a small amount) but it’s life changing. I use way less deodorant and stay clean longer because bathing twice a day like I used to, isn’t happening anymore

    Nuud is the BEST natural deodorant. It is fragrance free, comes in a tube, and is the only “natural” product that ever worked. Standard aluminum antiperspirant has never actually worked for me either. Believe me I’ve tried everything including the prescription strength stuff.
    I haven’t had any BO in 5 years since I’ve been using it. I still sweat but it effectively prevents the bacterial growth that cause odor. I don’t sweat as much either, because I’m not worried about being stinky! (At least that’s what I believe is the cause, could also be the product)

    When I first switched to natural deodorant, I had an adverse reaction. My pits were detoxing and it was not the deodorant. I have no problem now about 8 years later. I don't stink. I also wash pits with benzoyl peroxide if I have an especially sweaty day. But I don't mind sweat. It is natural and it doesn't stink if you are generally healthy and have no issues.

    • @molo8026
      @molo8026 6 місяців тому

      If you sweat and let your body ferment in it, then you will stink bad. Proper hygiene is essential. You should not smell like an onion factory just by sweating a little during the day. And detoxing is absolutely a natural process. We pee and poop what we don't need every day. Toxins are also released in our sweat. Why do you think saunas are recommended to get the detox process going? I spent way too many years clogging up my pits with antiperspirant. Now I let them go through their natural process and I never stink. I swipe my pits every day with the Sprouts brand mineral salt deodorant. That's it. I also worked on cleaning up my gut. If your pits and poop smell like death...you have gut issues.

      Fels-naptha works well at removing yellow stains and the remaining odor from antiperspirant/deodorant in the armpit area of shirts. I take my shirts as I am throwing things in, wet the under arm area and rub the inside and out of the shirt with fels-naptha and wash as normal, and it does a good job of breaking down the residue and removing the stain. With repeated use it will eliminate the stains and odor. It works well for white or colored clothes without effecting the color of the garment. Adding oxiclean with the fels-naptha will also increase the stain and odor removal and hasn't had an adverse affect on my clothes. Hope this helps anyone who also has this problem with underarm stains and odor residue.

    • @mandyheart8754
      @mandyheart8754 6 місяців тому +14

      All humans have the ABCC11 gene. It’s a *specific variant of the gene* that leads to dry earwax and absent body odor.
      Weird that someone would know that they have those gene-linked symptoms and then make the effort to post a comment about it (especially when sharing the info is not meaningful to the video discussion ), yet that person lacks basic knowledge about the condition - made obvious by stating that they don’t have body odor issues because they “have the ABCC11 gene”. Yet all people have the ABCC11 gene. Having it is not a unique condition. Having a *specific mutation of the gene* is the unique condition.

I am very allergic to it, the whole redness and swelling and itching and then going 'Hm, maybe it's a coincidence I'm having issues in the spot I patch tested this' and trying it again which lead to slight blistering. lulu pfp spotted! some other comment recommended chlorhexidine gluconate, quote: "it kills and inhibits gram + and - bacteria, fungi, and it generally takes about 20-30 seconds to kill them. Surgeons use it before surgery and it continues to work after rinsing. So I just decided on a whim to try it out under my armpits (make sure you DO NOT get it in your ears and eyes) at the beginning I used it more frequently but now I only use it around once a week and just use regular body wash every day. My armpits smell great (and by that I mean they don’t smell at all). I also pair it with a fragrance free crystal deodorant. They just don’t smell anymore and I love it." Im sure the benzoyl works.
    I stopped using antipersperants past few years as I felt it was important to allow my body to sweat and detox as designed to.
    As an alternative , I use an oil on my armpits plus oil-based natural deoderants. And they work for me !
    If exercising or a hot day I simply wash my arnpits on a as- required basis . If I'm out & about then wet wipes and an oil-based deoderant.
    Some people use an oil and then tea tree essential oil on top.
    For a special event eg a wedding or an all-day conference etc I will use an aluminium -free antiperspirant.
    Just as an aside, taking Tumeric supplements can change the odour of your sweat.
    Different brands do this to different extents.
    Ps oils I use : coconut, johobo, castor.
    Plus rosemary or lavender or peppermint or even tea tree oil.
    +/Or an oil-based deoderant stick.
    You can really play around with what suits you according to your activities.
    But, I confess Im not someone who sweats s lot & this influences my choices.

      I'm not sure about that.
      The ones I have bought are OK & if I put neat oil myself, I'm careful not to put too much.
      Also, it's not summer yet !
      I also had a bamboo one by Mitchum ( 0% alcohol & aluminium) & it worked really well, but I dont think they do the same one anymore.
      Maybe if you wear a tight white silk blouse or a tight black shirt ? May stain ??

    Hi Dr. Dray, I hope you are doing well. I need help to know what to use after what. So I recently brought ordinary products - niacinamide +zinc, alpha arbutin, blue copper aminoisolate,resveratrol 3%+folic 3% ,multiple peptide eye serum, Aha+bha peeling solution. So at present am doing 1-2 time peel per week . After peel I use niacinamid and another days I use niacinamide first and others (copper, alpha arbutin, resveratrol any one of these alternatively ) and I want to use oil with this because in past I have use daily facial oil and my skin liked it but don't know in which combination I can use oil with these can you suggest. Please

      I have been suffering from Tmau Odor diseases for the past few years now without having a permanently treatment. After I use the effective herbal 🌿supplement from Dr.Auchi on UA-cam for one was cure permanently from Tmau odor and I no longer have bad smell symptoms anymore..❤❤❤❤

    I personally never use either, I just wash daily, if I’m particularly worried I will use benzoyl peroxide wash, then followed with a spray of salicylic acid spray or glycolic acid toner. Then followed by a nice fragrance.

      I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding this issue. However, I don't like to take any chances where there is even the remotest possibility of cancer. So, I only use aluminum-free deodorant.
