How lucky I am to have found this channel! Me zero knowledge about gold prospecting. Man you are great explaining and passing on your knowledge . Appreciate it.
Great videos. Thanks for putting these together.New to detecting and have been using the gpz. I’ve hear people saying that gold has a low/high tone. Is this true to your knowledge?
Right on, You may not believe the museum grade gold I've discovered with 200-dollar machines. With today's inflation they a are perhaps 3 or 4 hundred dollars now.
I should of bought a 5000, I got the 7000 instead and am very disappointed in the coil selections.... I wish they had something a lot smaller for my area. The machine it self is great though when I can swing it through the bush...
99,9999% of everyone will not make any money with gold prospecting in long run... if you still think you can be one of the 0.0001% than feel free to buy all this expensive stuff.... i prefer to exchange my bitcoin for nuggets at any time. i seen somany desperate seller over the years... hardly anyone makes a living doing this. i pay happy 50% over spot for 1oz plus nuggies
Or you can get into fishing as a hobby, spend $30k plus for a boat, another $3-10k on electronics and tackle etc, and zero $ return, and keep poring $ into it. For me, I have spent about $20k on detectors, and they have paid for themselves over and over. I enjoy my hobby, and make some beer money from it, and get plenty of satisfaction. I wish I knew you, I have sold my last 2 oz plus nuggets, 1 for $15k and 1 for $4.5K, at your rate, it would have been $30k.
@@topendgold9284 completely agree.......its s hobby we love..........that other guys comments shows he just doesnt get it.......i bet he plays golf which iscway more expensive and you get home with nothing to show for it 😅
Great video as always Matt, well done...very informative for the newbies.....now stop your waffling and let's go get those baseball sized nuggs out of the rainforest 😅

Apologies, I hear the 7000 is an absolute weapon. I have no knowledge of its use. But best of luck and great machine.
@@TerraRangerGold thanks mate
Brilliant mate, 👍
Thanks Evan 👍
good vid but most modern detectors like the 6000 is way to expensive for normal people ,
Absolutely it may be out of reach for some people.

@davidpapazoni3398 wow thanks for sharing. I hope you are still digging gold.? ⚒️🇦🇺👍
Great video thanks
For me, the Minelab GPX5000 is still the king. Biggest variety of coils available. Good for gold prospecting and also relic hunting.
I’m told it’s a weapon of a machine. That is still us to find patches. 👍

@hellhole7422 thanks for sharing.
I'm running a mine lab vanquish 440 and it will pick up raw gold that I've found...
Really, I have never used one. Thanks for sharing.
@@TerraRangerGold I'm not sure on depth yet but working on putting it to the test
