    Amazing finds. Unbelievable! There is so much to find. I have been looking across Iran and Oman and around the Persian Gulf and there are ruins everywhere I look. That long metal piece looks like something they used to get things out of the hooves of animals. I am so excited watching you. OMG!' The sealed jar with jewelry; What a treasure to find. Must have belonged to someone wealthy. The craftsmanship shows. There must have been a flood to put things that deep in a hillside or to have buried a brick wall. No telling what is under there! This is an archaeological find for sure. They found a wall like that in Oklahoma and tried to say it was a natural formation. This could be one of the greatest Jewish treasures ever found Do you have a historical society? I think this needs to be documented. I thought I saw Gilgamesh or a Sumerian on the first piece you found. My grandmother had clay donkeys in her garden. I wondered where the tradition came from. This belonged to someone special. These pieces need to be dated. The weights are amazing. i hope you find the scale. The jewelry looks like real gold and silver. These should be in a museum. I would be shaking handling those pieces. Silver or copper coins too? Wow! I don't see any raw materials to work metal anywhere around there. Nice oil lamp. These items could prove some of the Jewish history that is missing. Do you work with any archeological people? I hope so. You always find the best stuff. They could learn a lot from you.

      The star of David was first used in the 1400's and was made popular by the Rothechilds. But its true origins comes from the seal of Solomon, which is associated with witchcraft

    Doesn't look like fake to me. It's the sort of thing that I find really interesting, as gives you not only some items from history, but the sort of mindset those who hid them would have had -- the fact that they went through all that effort to keep them safe. The guys who found them should have been more careful with that scroll though, it could give the explanation that unravels the whole mystery. I hope they take it to a specialist who will analyze it carefully, then come back with another video and tell us about it. I think the items are from Roman times -- the coins looks like others that I've seen from that period, and the oil lamp is referred to in the New Testament with regard to a tradition of vergins meeting their bridegrooms in the dark.

This person had an oil lamp, jewelry, trinkets, cups, even coins for the after life. That scroll is amazing and should be shown in a temple or museum, because of the things used in prayer.

    When metal detecting, it is best to dig and not to pick. I literally kringe with each downward stroke of your hand pick. When digging, dig around the target like a square pattern, as picking repeatedly can very possibly damage your detected target. If these targets have been buried for centuries or millennia, how will you feel if you are the first person to irreparably damage the detected target treasure? Plastic pry tools are much better for not damaging antiquities.
    Does the Israeli antiquity authority endorse this method of treasure hunting, since none of these discoveries are cataloged?

    • @poplaurentiu4148
      @poplaurentiu4148 4 місяці тому +2

      Yeah.. He is more like a looter for metal stuff without the detector, has mostly big tools shovels, hammer and quite big pry bars & pick tools ..
      any real archeologist comes with smaller tools + brushes, each site in-progress is carefully marked, sorting & classify each particular item etc..

    • @franktalley
      @franktalley 4 місяці тому

      @@poplaurentiu4148 Exactly, and a rich looter at that. Archeologists could have done the same thing, but they didn't.

    • @poplaurentiu4148
      @poplaurentiu4148 4 місяці тому +1

      @@franktalley Well that is because the major difference is that looters do not have legal permits like archeologists they usually are 1-2 people that sneak out and just want to grab valuable stuff fast like thefts no matter how even they need to brake stuff, some things to keep hidden for themselves and after they die someone else find those items but can not explain were they are from or provide any kind of historical background of any items / artifacts so that is the sad part, eventually some end up just get rid of them for a smaller fast profit and sell them fast online black market.. Meanwhile archeologists work totally different usually are more as a part of a group - team that have legal permit to dig & preserve most items / artifacts / jewelries what they found if possible intact unbroken in original shape & form they work longer periods with legal agreements from local administration authorities for each situ to find and discharge complete sets of items and after examination and classify trace the historical provenance to put all the find items in museums, expo centers with explanations, pictures and photos of excavations were got found because are cultural part of that specific area / country not need to be sold them illegally uncomplete on black market just for a quick buck.. that is illegal and if police get involved or other authorities trace them and if are get caught, they might end up doing jail time..

    • @franktalley
      @franktalley 4 місяці тому

      @@poplaurentiu4148 OK time to backup, he is no archeologist nor is he a looter. He is a treasure hunter. I have no clue where he or you are from but where I am from, we don't need any permits only permission from the landowners. And again I ask, what has kept archeologists from going there first?

    • @poplaurentiu4148
      @poplaurentiu4148 4 місяці тому +1

      @@franktalley So because you mentioned i need to backup.. in first place if you want to be some sort of Indiana Jones specially today on modern times why not think about all the legal troubles you might get into ? So let me clarify this a bit yes in some few country cases is legal to own or use without restrictions but in most majority countries with rich patrimony cultural archeological sites where the owning and use is restricted by law and other countries that completely prohibit (do not permit) own & use at all - metal detectors..
      So in general countries that allow when a metal detector is purchased legally, that person also need legal certified authorization to use it (just like when a person buy a gun, sonar/radar) - (even those small detectors as Pinpointer) if the person get 70 metal detectors it needs 70 authorizations for each device.. it's from law that apply all over including Europe.. (because some metal detectors are also been used by authorities like in check-point / entrance of different objectives like: (airports, administration buildings, parliament.. etc). Allowance for free hobby-use is permitted mostly insular/ coast lines beach areas but even there are some cases of private beaches..
      So, the fact that rules apply or do not apply somewhere is a different story, mostly it depends on each country : administrative legislation/ or corruption/ or if the metal detector was purchased legally (or not - straight from second-hand online black market) .. Some devices also need regular calibrations made by a certified shop.. in the country's were the metal detectors are restricted by law before purchasing a metal detectors that person needs to apply / (pay a fee + register) for a legal permit from officer of archeologist & artifacts patrimony / a wing under cultural ministry or from local police dpt.. So each individual needs certified authorization to purchase /own and permits from local archeology bureau to use-it on certain locations and in some cases from land-owners as well to discharge artifacts.. Artifacts found must be presented and hand over to local authorities and depending of value importance of items artifacts they usually establish compensations for the founder of those cultural treasures..
      What kept the archeologists going there first ? could be from different reasons like :
      busy with other larger sites, maybe that particular situ region was not included yet into artifacts discharge priority.. etc
      so here is a site with more details on this :
      www.goodmetaldetectors.com/in-which-countries-is-metal-detection-allowed-or-prohibited.html

    Nothing says fake antiquity quite like shoddy craftmanship, those chunky menorah must date back to the plaster of paris era. Must try harder, soot is not a great indicator of age, nor is a total lack of precious metal, who thought a pile of brass junk was fooling anyone, the finest of goldsmiths seem to have forgotten how to cast even a coin!!! Grow up lads.

      Je suis ravie de voir que pratiquement tout le monde a eu le même filling que moi ! Truquage, dès le début j’ai trouvé bizarre que ce site soit laissé à l’abandon par le gouvernement ; il ne dit jamais dans quel pays cela se trouve et peut importe, où que ce soit dans le monde, il est interdit de fouiller sauvagement et pire, sortir en douce des pièces archéologiques ! Il nous prend pour des pigeons, gratouilles d’ici, gratouilles de là, et vlan, trois coups de pioche et le mur est là, les pierres sortent comme dans du beurre et les bijoux scellés sans des urnes sortent tout oxydés. Le gars, stoïque, les remet dans l’amphore sans bouger un fil ! Quel self control !!
