- AT LAST: Jason Knight revisits the junkyard knife, and this time, to finish it!
In this second video, Jason works on finishing the blade and begins work on the handle, using scrap wood from his personal stash. If you have scrap materials, YOU can make something beautiful with them too!
What do you think of the finished junkyard knife?

Man you sure do know what makes a knife look great! Blue Jays are mean ass birds!! Lol
They’re the a**hole drinking buddies of the bird world
Now that is a knife I would buy any time! Beautiful craftsmanship as always.
Beauty
Awesome Jason! 🔥⚒🔪👍✌
That is a sexy blade. I know you said you screwed the pattern up, but I think that looks just as good. Nice job as always brother. 🤟
its always a treat to watch you work. Helped itch the scratch during this long time away from the shop. Can't wait to put this inspiration to work!
Absolutely amazing work
I learn so much just watching what you do! Thanks for sharing
Wow
We don't make mistakes just happy accidents
Awesome craftsmanship as always Master Knight. I love the Nordic look on that chefs knife
Would not be out of place in a high-end kitchenware catalog and/or retailer!
I was hoping a Master Smith like Jason Knight would be demonstrating a new system that avoids the need for hand sanding. Sigh. If an MS has to hand sand, I guess the rest of us do too. Sigh.
love watching your channel. has anyone ever made a twisted feather pattern demascus before
so beautiful خیلی خوبه
Yo Jason, every time I hear the disco song "Knight Fever" from The Bee Gees in 1977 it reminds me of you... "Knight Fever, Knight Fever, We know how to make it...." lol. 🔪
Split that belt in half. It will let you hit the tight spots when slack belt grinding the handles
Love your work and enjoy the videos. What specifics are there when choosing a belt grinder, if any? Looking to purchase one but unsure of brands, size, etc.
Why did you grind a fuller into the tang? And why do you use the disc grinder?
I thought you couldn't do that much grinding on a knife after you heat treaded it ?
You are pretty much good to go on a grinder until you discolor the steel from grinding... That is when you jammed up the heat treat. Mr Knight is as legit as they come, and probably knows just how far he can go before that happens. That water bucket by the belt grinder is key.
