Did you find a fix? This is now happening to me. Apparently the car has some type of service but they said I am not qualified (don’t know why). It’s some type of manufacturer error. I think the radio i purchased wasn’t the premier/advanced(?) radio, so that’s why it didn’t work and is eating the battery but am not certain. Any ideas or did you give up on a radio? I now have 2 i gotta sell 😂

you can pull a fuse and wrap any hot wire around one of its metal contacts and plug it back in like that
