    Awesome work for a day. A lot of cable chain can open up with flaps on each link. But sometimes, its less work to fish. ;)

      Ryan MacEwen hahaha true. Closed cable can keep the inside of the chain a little cleaner.

    where did you get the gears for the stepper motors ? I wanted to use steel gears was looking at the same place you got your gear rails from.I need a 8mm inner bore for my stepper motors.

    • @TheOffRoadCorner
      @TheOffRoadCorner  4 роки тому

      The gears I’m using came with the gantry kit I bought off of eBay. They no longer sell this kit so I’m not sure where you can buy them.

      The Off Road Corner I found one it looks the same on eBay for 200.00 and it has the z axis with it

      The Off Road Corner I was looking to see if you had done videos on the frame build up but couldn’t find anything on UA-cam on your post

    • @TheOffRoadCorner
      @TheOffRoadCorner  4 роки тому

      John Thompson that’s a pretty good deal. I think I spent that much without the z axis.

    Can something like this be bought as a whole kit?

    • @TheOffRoadCorner
      @TheOffRoadCorner  3 роки тому +1

      I know CandCNC.net makes a kit that supplies all the electronics and computer but doesn’t supply a table to put them on. If you are looking for a kit that comes with everything and you just have to assemble it, check out avidcnc.com or a lower cost option would be langmuirsystems.com.

      I was eyeing Langmuir. Thinking that may be a good entry point for me and see if it grows into a need for something bigger

    • @TheOffRoadCorner
      @TheOffRoadCorner  3 роки тому

      If Langmuir was a choose back before I started building this table, I probably would have bought it instead. It’s got all the features my table has but better electronics and a community to support troubleshooting.

      Dude, this is the second video I see you posting the same thing....big whoop, you have an Everlast plasma cutter. We get it. Also that's one step above the cheap ebay cut50 cutter. Nobody is gonna be like wooooow.

    Good lord you can buy a cnc plasma table for $1500. Just add $400 non Hf plasma cutter and you have a complete system for less than $2000. It's only 24x33" though.

    • @TheOffRoadCorner
      @TheOffRoadCorner  4 роки тому +1

      That is an option for sure. And I won't lie, I thought about buying one. my biggest concern with those machines is reliability and technical support. also, the cut size was smaller than I was looking for.
