Now you will have to to do a video after a year to see how it holds up.

It’s been 9 months and I couldn’t find an update video. It’s something nobody ever shows even Derrick. What’s it look like after a few gravel roads and some rain. Since nobody has shown it. I assume it’s not good.

No intro...no prep....no tape...no gloves.... NO PROBLEM, lol! As soon as I saw the 2 cups on the hood I just KNEW you were gonna tip one over. Why? Because thats the kind of stupid $#!t that happens to me, lol! Been thinking of giving this a try on my 74 Ramcharger until I pull the trigger & get it painted. Nice video!

I’m not even joking your half assed job looks better than some of the other guys I’ve watched that have been super careful. Less streaky than theirs. Maybe just going for it is best for this stuff

I like that Derek and family moved to the great state of Tennessee. The scenery is better when he goes into turbo mode on way home ..

Thank you brother. I was wondering about this stuff. My flacking patina'd 03 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. She is my baby. I am Ls3 swaping her. But it's gonna take time before I can paint her. But this will help save the body. The roof has about an 1/8 of the roof has got surface rust. I will hit it with a sander and spray paint it and then hit it with that stuff for now.

I enjoyed that, you made me laugh when you came off the front of your truck. It looks pretty good. That product is similar to Poppy's Patina.👍🏼

Pretty sure there is no activator it’s just oil you wipe in the car. That activator is probably just mineral spirits to thin the oil

    LOOKS GREAT
BUt what better vehicle to PRACTICE painting on, especially clearcoat.
So you spend 200 on a decent gun and 200 on clearcoat.
if you get a shit ton of runs buff it out if you even care , otherwise its just 200 in materials to practice.
I shouldve did this with my classic car.
Instead i spent 1100cdn on a sprayer system and plastidip paint, which is very delicate and susceptible to contaminants, like sap n especially petro chemicals

First, you don't know you can't pour a quart and a 1/4 quart into a one quart container. Then you set a whole quart on the hood, then spill it. Don't think I'll value your recommendation. I'll just go to Visegrip Garge.
