I m so happy to find your channel in my country we used to speak English and our native language.. But I can't understand American English... I really love your voice... Thank know I can talk to my American friends without embarrassment
Your English is perfect, thanks for continuing to add subtitles to your videos in this 2018. My native language is Spanish but with you I have been learning native English
Hey guys, just a little correction in the spelling in the subtitles! At around 7:20, I said "This little phenomenon even has its own name: the flap T", but in the subtitles it's written "it's", which is a mistake! It should be "its", because "its" is the possessive, not the contraction "it + is". An Ambassador pointed this out to me, and I wanted to signal it to you, so you don't make the mistake! So be reassured, even English teachers can make mistakes too :-)
You have a great UA-cam Channel, this week I am gonna start to study my career as a teacher English,so I hope your channel give some tips to learn basic things such as pronunciation, grammar and other stuffs, this is one of the best UA-cam channel for beginners in english so I just want to be as u are.. A good and excellent teacher who give all for her/his students, sorry for some mistakes and thanks for sharing your knowledge to us....
I'm brazilian and I've studied in a British english course, but always pronunced the numbers the "American way". I think it sounds better... Thank's for lessons.
I love your channel because I m really good at writing but my listening is so bad and it makes me confused I hate that thank you so much I wished I discovered your channel a year ago
Hi, teacher, I learned so much from you. Honestly, your videos deserve more views, I love your teaching. I’m thai medical student. You’ve helped me a lot ; )
Teacher, I'm from Brazil, and I can understand 90% that you said on the videos, but i'm learning by myself. 3 months, that i study, and for me, it your channel is the better. I'm learned new words, pronunciation, And i can only understand sounds "few words" in the channel. So i only read. :( but I'll impreve my inglês, and understand some day... Thank you very, haha I love you, and your vídeos. I'm sorry for my mistakes, I don't know very good in inglês yet.
Hello Christina thanks a lot for your useful tips, I love your free lessons, because you make me understand many tricks of the english language bye I'm from Italy
Hi Christina, That was so awesome lesson!!! Thanks for sharing ! I've heard the following expression in a UA-cam video: "It ain't gonna happen". The guy said so fast that I needed to turn the subtitles on to understand it. :)
Hi Christina, I really liked your video! Im from Brazil and I speak with north americans, I could see that they use get for almost everything in spoken english, for example: I gotta go, I gotta eat, I gotta water.etc. Could you tell us more about that habits in spoken english?! Thank you!
Oh my God I’m so in love with your lessons! I totally recognize whatcha ;) talking about! It was hard for me to get that kind of prononciation. Like « water » and the worst ever I had some much trouble to understand « ya sure, ya betcha » 😱😂 I let you find out where does it come from lol.
It´s cool to say that the "real" American spoken language is pretty much similar to my spoken language (brazilian portuguese) in particular in questions like (do you have a problem / you have a problem?)
Gosh!! Sometimes you need to guess what Americans are saying, like that "djee yet" example kkkkkkkkkk Thanks for these excellent tips, Chris!! Xoxo from Brazil
Hi Cristina. I have been watched your channel since last week and it's amazing!! So about the question, I had dificult to take the pronunciation of "all of it" end "all of them"...
Î am depressed because your lessons "4 things you need to understand Americans " . Itś really difficult that accent and the omission of words when American English is spoken. But I want it. Thanks for all your help.
ok that's great may u please tell us more about the abbreviations used while texting my native English speaker friends on the Internet .. I have a problem with it so much .. anyone else agree! 😀 thanks 😍
Hi, I am from Turkey and sometimes I can’t solve some sentences on newspapers written by american english I will write one here but I can’t find now. When I see those complicated sentences with shortened words , I feel so bad and it looks I don’t know english well
Eddy Colon the real English is the English you can find in a conversation or movies, so that’s the real English. In your language, do you pronounce every syllables? I don’t think so ;)
talking about the "T" sounds in several words like :important, internet, interview, written... I don't hear when Americans pronounce it when they are speaking. Please help me if there is a rule for it.
Christina,in your opinion,if an latín american person live in usa,how long time take it talking like a native american?is posible to learn "wuth dable" like a bubble gum inside mouth,
i´ve heard "Have a good one"... This greetings it´s not in any english book. What its meas?. Can we use at morning, afternoon and evening? Does "one" like good day (today). Please, talk about this! Thanks. You´re the better!
It 's the same as "have a good day." You could use "have a good one" at any time of day. For example, if you are eating lunch with your friend, and it's time for him to go back to work or school, he might say "I need to go now. (I'll) See you later." You could answer "OK. Have a good one!"
I wanna practise english. I studied english for 4 months but i don't have many time to learn english. Recently i have more time so i'm looking for patner. Who can practise for me?
Hmmm, might be helpful for some people. I'm actually an American hoping to find some kind of video that will help me to understand how to understand other Americans who simply talk really fast for a really long time. It looks like they don't require any breathing at all, they can just ramble on like a TV show on FastForward for hours and I just expect them to explode at any moment. All I can grasp are pops and clicks of certain C or T's here and there. They sound like Chipmunks on speed and it really frustrates and annoys me.
Really the most Hard of the english is the speaking and listening :'v especially when you are speaking with a native, they speak so fast :'c while i make my sentences in my head, they are speaking about other subject :''( But nobody said that it was easy

T soins has several prononciation in American english show tout know thé correct sound
Hey my love 😘
You should retitle this as South Eastern American English. From an SC native. Just sayin. ;)
Hi !?
I like all your videos....but can you when you speak sentence in a real world speak slowly so we can repeat it ...
And thanks for you ❤
Really the most Hard of the english is the speaking and listening :'v
especially when you are speaking with a native, they speak so fast :'c while i make my sentences in my head, they are speaking about other subject :''(
But nobody said that it was easy
🌷
I thought they were called glottal stops - but that probably just me being English
I see a lot of wrong points in Americans' English . . For example . . . "She don't pay attention"
I'm totally confused !
More of these expressions please, it isn't really we need to communicate.
Why the brits avoid the letter "R" when speaking?
😉👏🇧🇷
