The first manual ATV I got was a big bore blaster when I was 11 I'm 14 now and I'm seeking a banshee... although Im still not technically by law allowed on anything bigger than a 90..
Blasters aren't even close to being a big bore.....but we get the point lol. As far as the law goes, my DAD was the law. I apply the same to my daughter. She is 6 and i put her right onto a 125 quad when legally she cant ride bigger than 50cc. But like i said DAD IS THE LAW. IF your paw thinks your ready for a banshee ( or mom, grandpa, ect) they by all means go for it bud

go with a 250, it will last longer, you can handle it too, shoot i was only 4'6 when i was 12 and drove a racing fourwheeler for the first time and it was a VERY powerful 450 from honda
You shouldn’t start on a 90 at 4 when your 7 go to a 250 9-10 a 350 and after probably a year on that you can ride any thing if your learning on a sport quad because utility’s are geared lower

Raptor 125 cost too much and not enough power, I started on a 200 cc air cooled two stroke Yamaha blaster then I upgraded to a Suzuki rm 125 two stroke dirtbike then a bored out Yamaha warrior what I’m tryna say is never start with a 125 four wheeler I mean 125 dirt bike that’s alright but not quad. But y’all read this so far so lemme hear y’all get Rowled up in the comments, let’s get talking about two strokes!
lol this Atv is so small I can probably lift it up with one arm, just already I can lift the front of about 5 or 6 inch from ground with my Ds 450 with one arm :D
Im 12 and i have a raptor 250 i almost got a 125 until i rode it and thought it was slow and I'm not even 5 foot it looks scary but as long as your not being a dumbass with it you'll be fine
Julius Wong The ds 450 is a great quad. Had a couple problems with the electronics though but it was a 2008. Wish I never sold it though but I don't have time to ride any more

I own a 2008 700r. Tbh don't even need 4th and fifth gear because of the power
@HarbyDarn depends on your riding skill. if u dont have any experience, start small, and work your way up as you go.

yeah with all the emision standards now there really isnt much place for 2 strokes, but a 250 2 smoke in a raptor 250 frame would be fun as hell!
