@@matthewtrent2019 That's not a fair comparison. If you modify a quad or any vehicle, it's not the same thing and not comparable anymore. If you modify a raptor I'm sure it would give a banshee a run for it's money. I like both machines, but they are completely different power plants.

I put power commander and dual exhaust on mine it'll smoke any 450 one out there(drag racing). Stock I don't think it would but all you need is a couple stuff too make it even more of a rocket ship

How can you list "no IRS" as a con?? I would hate it if it had IRS. Look at the TRX700RR. It's heavy as hell and can't power slide.

Not enough love for the Bombardier around here. FYI the DS650 was available in 99', making it the first big bore thumper sport quad ever. "the largest powerplant in a pure sport was a 500". No. With 650CC 4-stroke and 12" suspension travel ( which is STILL more than any big bore sport bike today ) this bike was, and if you have one, is, one hell of a quad.

even in 1st i find my self popping the clutch to get it in powerband in the woods on hills. u have to get use to riding 20mph or nothing. dont sound like much but 20 is alot on winding trails with trees close in to the sides. with my a-arms im inches form trees on both sides. once u get used to constantly clutching and shifting its the fastest bike of all my friends. a can am 800 cant beat it or a raptor 660. its just like getting used to an old car its only bettrer once u can drive it better.
u cant ride a banshee hard wothout extended a-arms and aftermarket shocks u just cant. stock you would be standing up 100% of the time just to not get bucked off. but some $200 used shocks will do a banshee good. id have a raptor too but my budget was $1500 so a banshee was the most powerful quad u could get and i stand by my decision
Please NEVER do add an IRS Suspension to this quad ! It Powerslides like there was no tomorrow and it's awesome to drift this thing in every gear !

I here ya there man, my brother blew is 660 up so he just got another one and gave that one to me, I just had to buy another bike for 700 bucks and take out the motor and put it in the other one. Love mine though its still stupid fast by my standards and for where I ride put its nice predictable power, and you can still stand it up really easy if you want to. But a banshee if you not used to two strokers I could really see that power band bucking you off lol. Still love to have one though.
these are top heavy,my 06 kfx 400 smoked my buddies 686 and 700r,i only have the alba 470 kit,thank you Cory,Raptor what?Other than the average rider doing better in every aspect with the 450,the raptor can't compare to my quad,new is not better,this junk is not needed,we can let th esales speak for themselves,the 450 will last longer,you get what you pay for,it used to be the best selling sport atv,now only the uneducated want these,have fun with this waste of metal!

Thats without tax... and if you cant pay all of it cash (check or whatever) there is some financing so it ads up pretty quickly my 2012 raptor 700r se came in at 11,000 after taxes
i guess depends on the rider, ive taken off on plenty of yfz 450's on my raptor, dont get me wronf its a great track bike but over all bike you can never go wrong with a raptor

Yes my uncle has a ds 650 it's fast , but my outlaw 525 IRS is faster and I hate raptors , the outlaw 525s would kill a raptor same with irs
prolly not a good idea its very easy to learn how to shift its make its more fun and u look cool its the oppisit then a manual car

And where did you get 250 polaris from i said i rode a 2011 raptor 700r. A 250 wouldnt haul my big ass.

The 2013 700Rs are $8,099. Base model is cheaper, and the SE version is a little more.

not really gearing, weight, rpm, and tires are some of the biggest factors but the most important one is the rider :)
the 450 is a race quad so its gonna be more expensive

Raptor 700s are usually the ATV of your choice if you´re taller/heavier than the average joe. Raptors are pretty big - just like any other 700 (KFX 700, TRX 700 etc.). So no - you´re certainly not too large.
I love my 2006 700R Raptor its leaps and bounds better in every way then my always broke down money pit 2001 660 raptor. Iv taking my 700R to the tracks and screwed around and it handles the track very good I found and its very affordable to maintain aswell when I were this one out I will be buying another.
If you want a good yamaha four wheeler get the yfz450 way better than that piece of junk or get the raptor 660 because it is just about 30 cc's higher the 660 has 660 cc's and the 700 has 686 cc's

if its cheaper than a 450 must mean cheap parts.

I got a 2019 raptor se and have waxed 450's of all kinds with the houser racing a arms n dominator 2 rear axel I can't b touched u can really hit the throttle with it being almost 50" wide
ive got a yamaha ttr 125 le im tryin to save enough to get a four wheeler its either this a banshee a blaster a smaller size raptor or a warrior im a yamaha rider all the way i love yamaha

There's a huuuuuuge difference between the w350 and the r700! I think you'd be better to upgrade to a z400 before, or at least try them because they worth the test track. Raptor 700r are awesome but if you're liking the handling of you'r warry, you'll appreciate better a kfx our a ltz 400 ;)
They are about the only sport bikes for guys like me 6"3 and on the heavy side lol. Me or my brother haven't rolled ours yet though. i will take that tippie-ness for a comfortable ride. your banshee sounds bad ass though man, super sick.
